There is no denying that CW’s Arrowverse is pretty amazing. What started off with Arrow soon spawned The Flash, then Legends of Tomorrow. After Legends of Tomorrow came crossovers with Supergirl, Constantine, and even an animated series, Vixen. This universe has had many successful moments including the introduction of the Flash, the Invasion crossover, Deathstroke, Flash vs. Arrow, and much, much more. However, this does not mean the universe is perfect. Other than Arrow season 4, there is one problem that sticks out to me whenever I think of the Arrowverse: there are absolutely no consequences. Comic books have a habit of bringing dead characters back to life. With so many different creators, series, crossovers, and more, it is not hard not to see why characters return from the dead. After so many different versions and years of comics, it is understandable that characters get a little jumbled but the CW shows have been going on for only a few seasons. …show more content…
She was born in a village in Africa and was given the Anansi Totem, which gives her the ability to channel the power of any animal she chooses. When the Legion of Doom acquired the Spear of Destiny, they changed the fabric of reality and created a new reality, Doomworld. Throughout the season the Spear of Destiny was described as a dangerous weapon and we were told that once used time travel could not fix the damages it caused. In Doomworld, Captain Cold kills Amaya and the spear is destroyed. However, the Legends traveled back in time to retrieve the spear and changed reality to allow everything to return to normal. This created time aberrations, which took the form of the Legends. Technically, the Vixen that died was a time aberration but her death was very impactful and shocking at the time. I should have known it wasn’t real and she would be brought back from the dead in the very next
In a written story, the details are permanent. One can not will the words to change in every copy of the same story. The author’s words are fixed and how the author created the story is how the story will always go. While it is true a reader -- or even the author -- could create an alternate reality where the story divulges from the original plot, the people in the story are typically the same. In fact, the more people think about the character, the more the character seems to come alive. Tim O’Brien gave his fallen comrades and even his first love a second life in his novel. In the final chapter Linda says “Once you’re alive… you can’t ever be dead” (O’Brien 244). When a person is alive, they interact with a variety of individuals and become a central part in some of their memories. Those random encounters create a link to the living after they have passed away. The people remember and tell others of the fun
Ares was a very troubled character. Those things made him the way he is. Nobody else could’ve been the god of war better than Ares. The things that he went through as a child explained what he was going to be. As I said above it seemed that he had so much hate inside of him that made him into what was. The God of War!
Nikola Tesla was a Serbian American inventor, electrical engineer, mechanical engineer and physicist. He was also considered an eccentric genius and recluse. Tesla is best known for his feud with Thomas Edison over AC power Versus DC Power. He was also well known for inventing the Tesla Coil which is still used in radio technology today. Nikola Tesla was mostly forgotten until the 1990’s when there was a resurgence of interest in popular culture.

The Hufflepuffs were a society that developed interesting technology that is still being used to this day in time. They existed from 400 CE to 1066 and lived in present day England, Northern Germany, & Northern Netherlands. The culture originally had their own religion and then were converted into Christianity during the later years, when they moved to England. Their technology was different from the rest of the world such as there long boats, weapon style, and their tools especially for farming. The Hufflepuffs had inventive technology that although was different from the rest of the world, but their technology is still used today.
in his shield. He killed her by cutting her hideous head off . He was able to defeat her with the help of some of the gods. Minerva gave him a bronze shield and warned him that he would be turned to stone if he looked at her directly in the face. Mercury gave him the sword that he used to decapitate her.
While walking through my local comic shop, Rocking Rooster, I overheard the shops owners talking about their favorite superheroes. One of the men made a claim that his favorite superhero will always have to be Batman. I thought to myself in no possible way can batman be considered a superhero. When compared to real heroes such as Superman or Wonder Woman, Batman just doesn’t hold up. A real superhero has to have some type of super human ability, face villains with the strength of gods, and always work for the good of the people, not above the law. I have found that it makes much more sense to include Batman in the category of vigilante, as he tends to compare much better to vigilantes such as Green Arrow.
JK Rowling could have never imagined in 1990 when the thought of Harry Potter first appeared to her, how much this fictional character would capture the hearts of readers all over the world. Similarly, Tolkien’s Series The Lord of The Rings has had a resounding effect on its readers, some even going so far as to learn the Elven language that Tolkien himself created. Both of these fantasy works, though incredibly different, are very similar in regards to their Christian themes and underlying message they read. Probably more debatable by fans is whether or not the Harry Potter series is a Christian work, let alone if it even carries Christian themes and undertones. Many within both the evangelical and non-religious world seem to be offended at such a thought as this. Half offended that the story of the gospel could be hidden within the confines of a book of witchcraft, the other half offended that a book of witchcraft and wizarding could carry a Christian message. Yet to Rowling herself the Christian themes seem to be quite obvious. Whatever party one may find stand in, it is clear the Harry Potter series is a Christian work, because of JK Rowling’s deliberate use of Gospel themes, biblical references, and biblically allegorical figures placed throughout the books.
I have chosen the five I think are the most important to list if you want to be a witch/wizard (Depending on gender and name of "witch" or "wizard" you may choose). Anyway, the main ones I am listing are these:
Waiting for Superman is a 2010 documentary that focuses on the wrongs and solutions to the education system that has been instilled in America. The film features Geoffrey Canada and his importance is obvious but at the same time completely obscured. Michelle Rhee takes a front in this documentary as both the hero and the villain, in the sense that in order to fix what has been wronged she has to make choices and decisions that others view as unnecessary. The documentary itself focuses on the lives of those the education systems has wrong which include 5 children (Anthony, Daisy, Francisco, Bianca and Emily) who in some way, shape, or form have need the education system to save them and give them the kind of education that they need. Another incredibly talented and well- known inventor is none other than Nikola Tesla. Tesla was born in Smiljan, Lika, in the region of Croatia on July 10, 1856. His father was an Orthodox priest, and his mother was a house hold appliance inventor. As a child he was known for being ingenious and obsessive. Tesla was a very fast-paced and obsessive learner. He often pulled all-nighters, or functioned with only a few hours of sleep. Tesla loved challenging the standard theories, along with improving and advancing them. Unfortunately, his obsessiveness with subjects and challenges caused him to develop Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. (SOURCE).
