Immanuel Kant’s accounts is most plausible in this case. The choices Superman makes are always done out of perfect duty. The concept of categorical imperative, follows along with the majority of the actions Superman takes. Superman’s decision making is done out of good will which is a “good in itself.” Some might say that Aristotle’s accounts is most plausible in this case. Everything about Aristotle’s ethical theories points to Superman performs virtuous acts which leads to a life of happiness. Lex’s actions not only harms others, but also harms his chances of cultivating a virtuous character. The drawback of Aristotle’s theory in Superman’s case is Superman’s longevity. Aristotle’s theory, makes it so that one can only obtain happiness at the end of their lives; there is no telling what the future holds, Superman might not always take the correct actions. In the case of Mill’s theory, one can see that neither of Superman’s identities seek out higher pleasures; one only sees him live his life day by day; either stopping the bad guys or writing articles about bad guys. So out of the three theories Kant’s is most plausible for this
After the fetus was found to be abnormal, the 2 partners were at discrepancy about whether to terminate the pregnancy or not. Gwen wanted to terminate the pregnancy while Nicole insisted on continuing the pregnancy. This dispute put stress on both partners and caused the first tear of their relationship. Besides the couple, everyone in the care team is also facing this ethical dilemma. Some people might agree with Gwen while others might be on the same page with Nicole. Some people might have no side but feel troubled and distraught by the situation. It’s natural and normal for care providers who are involved in a situation like this to have an opinion based on their personal
In the book “13” edited by James Howe, there is thirteen stories. The story I'm going to talk about is “What is the Worst That Could Happen?” written by Bruce Coville. Clark’s first solution was to call an all-school get together, assembling all the druggies and troublemakers in front of an audience, and expel them all at once. He then starts to stalk the school hallways, authorizing his own particular rule of dread. Throughout the movie Clark makes both wrong and right decisions. He is a truly grieved man since his wife left him in the past. As the motion picture advances, Clark experiences an identity change; developing, and beginning to figure out how to be sentimental toward others. Nevertheless, Clark’s stubborn and outrageous personality still cleans up Eastside High.

I will always establish myself as a professional. I am a football player myself so helping Clark in this area should be my forte. I will be his coach away from the team. I will encourage him and let him know that as I push him, I will make sure all of his efforts are him to excel in football and overall as a healthy, growing, man. I want him to know that though I am not his actual coach, I am looking for the best and commitment is key.
In the story of Sherman Alexie, his hobby of reading books empowered his future. Just like Sherman Alexie did, anyone can have their life changed from a hobby. A hobby of my own could possibly take me places that I never could imagine. In “ Superman and Me ” Sherman Alexie said, “ I write novels, short stories, and poems. I visit schools and teach creative writing to Indian kids.” Sherman Alexie uses his profession to teach kids about what he does for a living. He also creates books for kids and adults. Another quote Sherman Alexie wrote is “ The books he (Sherman Alexie) read saved his life so he didn’t become dumb like the other kids.” Books helped him along to where he is today. They are what separated him from the “dumb” people.

In Sherman Alexie’s “Superman and Me”, the author discusses that with passion and motivation, one can succeed without talent. He was born an Indian with “irregular paychecks, hope, fear and government surplus food.” (Alexie 1) What allowed him to become more than an just an Indian was determined by the fervor of his “love [for] books.” (Alexie 1) He learns to read and understand “the purpose of a paragraph” (Alexie 1) and discerns everything into paragraphs. His refusal to “fail” (Alexie 2) led him to become a writer that goes to schools, teaching them something “beyond Indians.” (Alexie 3) Furthermore, he was faced with discrimination and overcomes it. The “sullen and already defeated Indian kids” (Alexie 3) is the effect of people without

The Walking Dead is an allegory for the real world. It presents audiences, the controversies of the conventional postmodern society amidst a post-apocalyptic drama. The series portrayal of dissolving humanity in unfeigned bleakness both reflects and inflames our societal perceptions and fears. Through an inhuman fallacy, (the zombie) The Walking Dead humanises the hopeless actualization of our corrupted world in all its postmodern traits. Therefore, the ambition for The Walking Dead is to exhibit a world pursuing a favourable equilibrium of peace and liberty but never achieving it as it is entirely a Sisyphean. In this essay, I will argue how cinema and humankind has fed into corruption within postmodernism.
