Many people claim that all children should have recess. I'm here to tell you why we should. To start with, Physical activity helps the brain, It also gives children a chance to socialize, lastly, it gives children time to let the brain relax. Yes, I think that we should definitely have recess. Firstly, Physical activity helps the brain. Reasons why are because, Research has been proven that children need at least 30-45 of outside time a day. Secondly, some children don’t have pe or don’t get to go outside and run around and sweat. Thirdly, children get to go outside and workout, and some children like to sweat and run everyday so children should be able to go out and do that. To start with, children need a chance to socialize. Kids should not have recess! “Recess does not improve a child's behavior and doesn't improve them academically. After a child has recess, they are satisfied and completely ignore the rest of the school day. As school grades plummet, are we really going to just slack off and let them play? Ridiculous! Schools can barely afford textbooks and other school equipment, so how are they supposed to find people to protect and watch after kids at recess. Where's the money going to come from? Budget cuts for schools can't cover the salary of supervisors during recess. But it can cover field days. There's also gym anyways.” According to this those 41% who doesn’t think children should have recess because it cost to much money or they get too tired to learn or they can't be protected. I think kids should have recess at the end of the day. The teachers could go out as well. You don’t even have to have equipment kids should at least be able to go out and enjoy it. It doesn't have to cost money, children don't have to get hurt, and they don't have to worry about being tired if its at the end of the day when they are done
