Candidates demonstrate a variety of fallacies within their speeches and their point of view. For instance, candidates like Bernie Sanders, and the most famous presidential debate in history, which was between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. They establish fallacies such as Straw Man, Ad Hominem, Scare Tactic and Red Herring. Candidates mention some fallacies through their speeches, in order to prove their points of view. This debate consists of fallacies due to the fact that American politics has not seen anything like Donald Trump, he expressed himself in a different way than other candidates. the verbal battles between him and Hillary Clinton are intense, dramatic and contentious. Therefore, a array of fallacies, because candidates are going to fight until they're the last one standing. For instance, Donald Trump states, If you go with what Hillary is saying, in the ninth month, you can take the baby and rip the baby out of the womb of the mother just prior to the birth of the baby. (Trump) He is demonstrating the fallacy, scare tactic, which creates a fear in people as evidence to support as a claim, for it is mostly as an act of threat. Trump creates fear to prove that people shouldn't vote for Hillary, he tries to make himself look improved. Hillary concludes that abortion should still be legal, and that it should be safe and rare, women should have the choice of this argument, for Donald Trump doesn’t agree with her belief, and puts that against her. Another example of a fallacy was when Donald Trump was demonstrating his belief towards Hillary, when he states, “Hillary Clinton wanted the wall.
