Republican candidate, Donald Trump is a bully, a racist, the opposite of a role model, and an individual who is completely unfit to serve as commander in chief and to hold the title as The President of the United States. It is necessary to label Trump as hazardous, plain and simple. Our families and society as a whole need to fully comprehend the danger and the threat this man poses to us all. In addition, candidate Trump is putting the persona of our great country in jeopardy. Trump’s bully/childlike impulse to lash out at any and everything that threatens him is the first example of his hazardous behaviors. A president should compose him/herself in a professional manner at all times, treat everyone with the upmost respect and most …show more content…
He has a long history of saying and doing racist things and it’s no surprise he’s won the support of the country’s white supremacists. Perhaps his lowest blow was the retaliation against the parents of a Muslim U.S. Army Officer who died while serving in the Iraq War. The father of the late soldier spoke, alongside his wife, at the Democratic National Convention in July. In an ABC News interview, Trump made racist remarks about the mother due to her silence in connection to their Islamic faith, saying “If you look at his wife, she was standing there. She had nothing to say. She probably, maybe she wasn’t allowed to have anything to say. You tell me.” Trump ignorantly assumed she did not speak out due to the regulations of her religion when in reality, she was to grief-stricken to mutter a word. This racist assumption was completely insensitive and uncalled for. Again, Trump should have held his …show more content…
Not to our kids, families, society, nor to other countries, which in turn leads us to believe he is not fit to be commander in chief. Children, teenagers, adults, and the elderly, all are groups that make up our country and each look up to the president as a leader and conductor to what is right. Other countries, whether it be our allies, our enemies, impoverished or underdeveloped nations see America as the Land of the great, a strong country with endless opportunity. If a leader such as, Donald Trump, came into power it would shatter this persona and we would lose the respect of other nations along with the citizens that make up our own. Time after time Trump has given us many reasons to believe he is not a role model for anyone, a leading example is his lack of respect for women. In his most recent scandal, a newly obtained 2005 video that was published by The Washington Post, displays our boy Trump making a series of derogatory comments about women. He is recorded saying vulgar remarks, “And when you’re a star they let you do it. You can do anything…Grab them by the p****. You can do anything.” If nothing else has led you to believe Trump was unfit to serve, this should be the final piece of proof you need. “63 percent of likely voters say they do not think the Republican nominee respects women,” according to the latest NBC NewslSurveyMonkey Weekly Election Tracking
Donald J. Trump, is known to many as the orange man who wags his finger down a long table of celebrities firing them left and right every Sunday night on NBC. To others he is known as the billionaire tycoon, who graces our headlines for remarkably insensitive or oddball remarks. All (not even possibly Mr. Trump himself), at least until now, viewed him as a possible candidate for the next President of the United States. But as polls indicate, and citizens across the country (both moderate and conservative) vote in favor of Trump, he may very well be sitting in the oval office come January 20th, 2017. Whether this strikes fear in your heart, or tremendous hope is beside the matter, no one can deny the fervor and mania Trump
It is true, as Hedges writes, that “Political leaders, who use the tools of mass propaganda to create a sense of faux intimacy with citizens, no longer need to be competent, sincere, or honest.” We are already live in this reality. Donald Trump, our very own President, has been widely accused of making mistake after mistake. Sharing classified information with Russia, talking smack and threatening North Korea, the list goes on. The other day, I even heard that he tweeted about the United Forces being ‘locked and loaded’, implying that we’re ready for nuclear war with North Korea because of this. Despite all of the suspicious actions of the POTUS, people still take his side, claiming he’s America’s saviour. It goes to show how no matter how crazy someone is,
Due to Donald Trump’s lack of political experience, preoccupation with multiple careers, and blatantly self-serving intentions, he should not ever have been considered a reasonable candidate for the presidential election.
As Jimmy Carter became President of the United States of America, he emphasized his background as a Washington outsider who aspired to “clean up the mess” in Washington. Carter skillfully campaigned by playing on the public’s anti-government mood by attacking the establishment of Washington while delivering uplifting speeches about spiritual and economic renewal. However, once elected president, these same qualities that won him the office unintentionally alienated both his political enemies and his own party. Carter’s public image suffered once he was elected to office, and improved once he left. It was shaped by his enemies and the way the press handled the scandals associated with his office and his dealings with international crises. Carter’s public image was poor not just because of the difficulty of the issues his administration faced, but because of his own poor handling of the media tools available to him.
Donald Trump has been a bad influence to the United States that doesn’t deserve to be president. The entire thing he has done during his running doesn’t show that is able to be president. Trump is an arrogant person that doesn’t deserve to be president and doesn’t deserve to be able to run a country; he is acting like a child he is not mature to run for
“Make America Great Again,” the campaign slogan know all around the world that is determined to change the face of 2016 election when sixty nine year old Donald John Trump is elected. In 2004, the federal debt was $7.3 trillion. This rose to $10 trillion when the housing bubble burst four years later. Today it exceeds $18 trillion and is projected to approach $21 trillion by 2019. Debt is not the only the thing the United States has been dealing within the past years, such as immigration, abortion, guns, foreign policy, taxes, along with numerous other topics, yet Trump has a way to solve the unsolved and yes, “Make America Great Again.”
Donald Trump is a republican politician and businessman who was elected on November 8, 2016, as the president of United States taking the power in January of 2017. Trump brought many worries to a lot of people in the U.S.A and abroad which made them unhappy, but his presidency also made many people happy, especially Christians and republicans. I personally did not watch the debates, but I was able to hear about it on people around me, as most of the people that I know wanted Hillary Clinton to win because they saw so much of discrimination on Trump. Trump focused his campaign and debates on focusing on changing America for better, but the better changes were saying was only to give the opportunities to Americans only, cutting off the opportunity
Examining Trump’s rhetoric and past actions, it becomes clear that Trump’s ability to be the leader of America, especially in today’s already heated world climate, becomes questionable. When even the members of his own party refuse to endorse him and claim that he is not qualified to run a country, the general public needs to sit back and question his integrity. In Trump’s past, he has proven to be an insensitive, racist, greedy business man. Why would he prove to be any different once elected to office?
A democratic is the who supports the principles of democracy, a system of a government by the people, in which the supreme power is vested in the people and exercised directly by them or by their elected agents under a free electoral system (Dictionary.com). Bernie Sander fits this definition perfectly. Sanders, a 74 year old male, from Brooklyn, New York, and having previously served as mayor of Vermont’s largest city for eight years (Bernie Sanders). With having past experiences with running in a political situation such as running a city, Sanders is the right one to choose when voting comes along in November.
C-ASIST, an organization that is helping people all the time. They are helping people with and without health insurance. C-ASIST, is a non-profit organization that helps low-income families and underserved communities here in Michigan. They are primarily based here in Dearborn and their target audience are people living here, but people from any community can come and get the help they need. While they’re mainly known for the free health clinic they offer, they also have a mental health project going on and a food pantry. Their mission statement consist of the following:
The issue on illegal immigrants has been facing America over so many years “What is illegal immigration? This is the migration of foreigners to a country who are not legally eligible to migrate or extend their stay for more than a given period yet they refuse to leave. According to the United States Department of Home Security, people involved in illegal immigration are those non US residents who either crossed the borders without inspection or people who are given visas to stay for a while but instead of leaving, they overstay.” There is no reliable count of illegal immigration. Of course, people coming into the United States illegally are trying to avoid detection. The best indicator available is the number of people arrested
Donald Trump is dishonest and disrespectful to the citizen for the suspicion of accepting money and forging a friendship of sorts with the Grand Marshall of the Ku Klux Klan, David Dukes. Donald Trump, becoming president will start a war of economic failures, race relations and the structure of life. He is demanding certain outcomes for African Americans. At campaign rallies, the Ku Klux Klan has started riots. They believe their fellow friend would change the fate of society with African American. Citizen and other politicians think I was the work of Donald Trump. He has made such harsh comments over the past years, that being the 45th President of the Union States seems terrifying. Even though Donald Trump is one of the most eerily successful entrepreneurs, he has no social skills
I am not saying that I agree with Donald Trump in any way. However, I do feel as though he is causing a real uproar in the political world. I think his boldness is a step in the direction that we need. People are so worried about being politically correct today that it is causing issues within the military, government, and even society. Author Theodore Schleifer quoted presideintial candidate Ted Cruz as saying "We have had enough with political correctness -- especially in the military," Cruz said to loud applause in the town building. "Political correctness is dangerous, and the idea that we would draft our daughters, to forcibly bring them into the military and put them in close contact -- I think is wrong, it is immoral, and if I am president,
While immigration for our country is good the ability to become a legal citizen has become insanely hard therefore leading immigrants to illegally cross our border, which negatively impacts our country.
Politics is one of the most debated topics in the country today. With the wide variety of values present in America, it is bound to be a difficult topic to discuss. I’ve grown up in a family of democrats with religiously republican grandparents. Considering myself an Independent leaning democratic, I can usually calmly talk politics with my family. This year’s election has made any conversation surrounding politics toxic to my family and creates a large argument of one side or the other and no in between.
