Anne Frank Hobby Essay

Imagine having no communication with the outside world for two years. Imagine that you were hiding and couldn’t draw attention to you or your family for two years. This is how Anne Frank and her family had to live. You would have to learn new hobbies, give up old ones, and try to make use of your time.

Learning new hobbies that do not make a lot of noise can be difficult. A hobby that I would do is a work out, such as pushups, sit-ups, and squats. This is quiet and can keep you in shape. Another hobby is to play board games or cards. These are quiet and can be a fun competition between you, your friends, and your family. Another hobby could be reading or writing. You could steal a book to read or buy it and write on almost every

kind of paper. Anne Frank wrote while her family was in hiding and her diary is now very popular and famous. Reading and writing takes up a lot of time and is absolutely silent.
If my family went into hiding I would have to give up a lot of my favorite hobbies. I would have to give up sports because it would be loud and require me to show my face in public. I also wouldn’t be able to see my friends. No one in my family could go fishing or out on a boat for two years. I would also have to give up swimming in my pool while we were in hiding.
Writing and reading are making use of your time the best. This is because others can find your writing and make it famous like Anne Frank’s. Also you could look back at your family and what you had to go through. Working out is also a good use of time because you can stay in good shape that way. Board games and cards can just be a fun and entertaining way to pass time and enjoy yourself. Some of the hardest parts of going into hiding are that I would have to be quiet and barely talk for two years. Another hard part is that my family would have to give up a lot of our hobbies.
While in hiding you would have to give up a lot of things that you enjoy doing, but you might be able to adopt new ones. It would be extremely hard to do but it is manageable. Going into hiding for two years would be really rigorous.
