Ester Hernandez is a Chicana artist, best known for her works of Chicana women. Ester’s goal is to recreate women’s lives to produce positive images of women’s lifestyle and to create icons. Her piece, Frida y Yo, contains the iconic painter Frida Kahlo. Frida, after being in multiple accidents causing long-term pain and suffering, began painting, mostly self-portraits, to portray her reality and glorify the pain. Similar to how Hernandez's goals are a juxtaposition to Frida’s artwork, the art piece Frida y Yo creates a juxtaposition between life and suffering and death and fortune.
Kathleen Orr, popularly known as Kathy Orr is a meteorologist for the Fox 29 Weather Authority team on WTXF in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was born on October 19, 1965 and grew up in Westckave, Geddes, New York with her family. The information about her parents and her siblings are still unknown. As per bio obtained online, Kathy Orr is also an author. She has written a number of books like Seductive Deceiver, The drifter's revenge and many others. She graduated in Public Communications from S. I. Newhouse which is affiliated to Syracuse University.

Frida Kahlo is known for the most influential Latin American female artist. She is also known as a rebellious feminist. Kahlo was inspired to paint after her near-death bus incident when she was 17. After this horrendous incident that scarred her for life, she went under 35 different operations. These operations caused her extreme pain and she was no longer able to have kids. Maria Garcia was born on November 16, 1966, in Montecristi, Dominican Republic. She was encouraged by her father to study law and became a lawyer. She graduated from the Dominican University O & M school of Law. She became a justice of the peace in the misdemeanor court of the city of Montecristi in 1990 and was elevated to justice of the criminal court of the province of Montecristi.

Carmen Miranda was born in Portugal in February 1909. Her christened name was Maria do Carmo Miranda de Cunha. Her parents were Jose and Maria. She grew up in a strict Roman Catholic household. Jose was both a salesperson and a barber. However, Carmen was only educated until she was fourteen years old. Afterwards she began working at a department store to help support her family. She was both a model and a saleswoman. To pass the time she sang to her fellow co- workers. This lead to her big break when a chance encounter with a guitarist landed her a vocal gig on a local radio station and a job at a nightclub. Her father did not approve of the way his daughter’s life was headed. However, when presented with the sum of money she would make his mind changed. He still didn’t want her full name to be used though so she became known as “Carmen Miranda” (Carmen, 2006).
Daniela Vega Hernandez was born on June 3, 1989 in San Miguel, Chile. She was the first child of Igor Vega, a Printing owner, and Sandra Hernandez, a housewife. After a time, the family moved to Nunoa, where her brother Nicolas was born she did not have a nickname. Daniela began studying Opera with her grandmother at the age of eight.Growing up, she attended an all boys school where she was bullied.
Lizzie Velasquez is a victim of neonatal progeroid syndrome. This condition is very rare; in fact she is one of the three people that have ever suffered from it. When she was born, her parents were told that she would never have the ability to walk or talk. However she does both professionally as now she is an inspirational speaker.
