Defenseless animals, who can’t defend themselves from others. That are sent to animal shelters because they aren’t wanted or left alone in the streets. Those animals are used for animal testing and are harmed without warning. Their skin is either left burnt, and/or hairless. Why should humans treat animals this way? This article will prove and explain why animal testing is not necessary. Animals should only be a man’s best friend! Animal testing is mainly to experiment chemicals on animals, before proceeding to future successful products. Animals, more often tested on are rabbits, mice, rats, and other animals, are put in dangerous places and so oftenly burned, where as humans don’t do anything to stop this from occurring. These famous brands have succeeded and sold great amount of products. But what about those who don’t test on animals and are yet so successful? What are those companies doing so right, that they don’t have the need to test on our animals? These “famous” brands that think that it’s okay to test on animals have been successful and maybe they still are, but in the long run animals won’t be around forever. What will happen then? Will they still be successful then? As our technology has progressed, maybe less and less animals will have to suffer to become tests. In Animal Research it says, “Once it can be shown that new tests are as effective as the current ones, government agencies can approve their use to replace animal tests,” (Animal Research). However, animal testing should be stopped. In several countries animal testing was banned and now, since most of these animals aren’t protected by the law, it is very important to bring a stop to it. In the following paragraph I will give examples of some ways to stop animal cruelty. A way to stop animal cruelty, would be to email laboratories and requests to stop animal testing. Nagging and being after them can sometimes make them realize that the more disturbance a company has, the less the people will want to buy from them.
