In scene that Alex is sitting and drinking alone in club, I can feel his feeling because his face can express that he was sad about Rosie and doesn't know what to do next. Another scene is Rosie flies to USA to meet Alex and Alex takes her for a walk in the garden. This scene is my favorite scene of this film because it’s very touching. Alex is sitting on ground with Rosie, they don't talk a lot together but I can feel that they miss each other so much because of Alex's eyes when he’s looking at Rosie. This film has a lot of facial expression and body language of Rosie and Alex because they love each other but can't speak it out.
Forth are Lighting and color. In case of Lighting, this film uses High key light that makes this film look like natural light and feel warm. In the case of color, some scene of this film use warm color to express love and warmth to audience such as in the wedding scene or some scene use dark color to express about sad feeling such as funeral scene and in scene that Rosie knows her dad was died. The visuals of the film scene are filled to the brim with green and brown, setting a scene befitting of the first big thaw of Spring, rather than the “depths of winter,” described in the story. It is far from a simple difference in pallette and time of day however. Where the passage gives off the impression of solitude and barren terrain, referring to Grant and Fiona as being “under the full moon and over the black striped snow,” painting the image of two lone wanderers, isolated between two forces of nature, the movie scene is bright and alive. Grant and Fiona are walking under tree cover, but an abundance of light filters through the foliage. Even the camera shots are warm and inviting, with close views of the actor’s faces, and with great emphasis on every word spoken.
Although the nursing profession has emerged tremendously since the 19th centuries and many great accomplishments and changes has taken placed over the years, however there were presented issues from the film “Sentimental Women Need Not Apply” that were striking to me as they are still very relevant in both the nursing field and in our society.
What was the narrative of the show, who were the characters, and director? Love Jones the Musical is a makeover of the movie Love Jones directed and written by Theodore Witcher. The film starred Larenz Tate - as Darius Lovehall, and Nia Long - as Nina Mosley. The musical produced by Melvin Childs is touring around the country. I was able to catch an evening show of the shows only two nights held at the Kings Theater in Brooklyn. The stars of the musical are Tony Grant - as Darius Lovehall, and Chrisette Michelle - as Nina Mosley. Singers Musiq Soulchild, MC Lyte, Marsha Ambrosius, Raheem Devaughn, and Dave Hollister played themselves. The musical like the movie takes place in Chicago. The plot was also similar to that of 1997 movie in which Darius a poet and Nina a photographer gets together and fall in love. Trials and tribulations test their relationship, but the couple proved that black love is strong by overcoming their obstacles in the end.

The film very clearly captured David Lloyds’, the illustrator’s, work on the graphic novel. The film is kept very dark and the scenes are short. The only bright portions of the film are the explosions and where Evey is tortured. But, the film is darker than the graphic novel. In the novel, David Lloyd uses a soft color overlay for each scene, which was not reproduced in the film. Without that aspect though, the coloring is nearly identical.
Her very warm outfit gives the picture a sense of emotion that can affect the audience outlook of the perfume on oneself. The lighting filter emphasizes shades shown by the product notifying that this is the best a woman can receive. The lighting looks to be coming from the sun angled downward on the woman and, the field of flowers colors’ blends in to give the flowers a more delicate look as women would look at them. The flowers’ colors have similar warmth matching the lighting. If the colors were to be an off color not matching the lighting, the photo would lose its focus of the warm tone the advertisement is bringing because of the different tone the color brings. The lighting on to the flowers causes the flowers to pop out more than other items due to the slight color difference; this pop out affection connects to the perfume name “poppy.” The lighting makes her stand out, making her the overall focus. The audience grabs an idea of how the flowers smell and wants to be involved in the peace that her body language portrays. The woman when wearing this perfume receives that power but still have a gentle image. The lighting being her power, which causes her to stand out, gives the audience a reason to receive the strong light in their life also. Women are expected to be loving and peaceful people to maintain an image for society, but also wants to have a powerful structure, however it’s hard to not be perceived as overly dominate woman living up to myths , that a good life consists of buying possessions and our body is not good enough toward
The artistic intensions of the film were clearly stated in the beginning when the credits appeared on the screen along with the recognition that this film received. Nothing in the background moved. The size and arrangement of the letters on the screen screamed to the audience that the main artistic intension of this film was for the audience to clearly recognize that this film itself was a piece of art in its finest form. The film very quickly and artistically set the mood and the location as well as the topical time period through the jazzy music in the background, the accents and grammar of the characters, the style of clothing and hair, the presence of a soldier, and through the scenery. Later in the film, some indicators of the time period were shown through the old radio Stanley threw out the window and the young man coming to collect for the newspaper. An indicator of the location was made more clear by the presence of African American people walking in Stella and Stanley's neighborhood. Back when this movie was made the black people and white people, especially of upper class society, were still segregated for the most part. The upstairs neighbors fighting with each other and yelling loudly and the appearance of Stanley's poker friends...

From the start of the film it is apparent what time frame it is taking place in and the differences in the social stratification through the lack of colors. One of the most obvious portrayals of the bleakness and desperation of the era is the overall faded and washed-out look of the whole film, due to manipulation of the film saturation; the heaviness of it almost cries out to the audience. Though the film was shot during the summer, cinematographer Roger Deakins and Cinesite colorist Julias Friede were able to use digital technology to change the appearance of the colors. “Together, they worked on manipulating the [digital] saturation of the images, and in particular selecting the greens of the trees and grass and turning them into dry browns and yellows” (Escaping, 2). These dry brown and yellows enhance the audience’s impression of the desperation of the characters and the time period.
