In Suzanne Britt's, “Neat People vs. Sloppy People,” she compares and contrasts information between neat people and sloppy people. By the way she talks about neat people in the story, you can infer that she is more of a sloppy person. The purpose of this story is to be comical and informational at the same time. She basically tries to make the reader despise neat people, and become more sloppy. Suzanne Britt's essay has inspired me to write my own compariston essay on baseball versus softball. Many reasons could help one pick baseball rather than softball or vise versa. Baseball is obviously a better sport, due to the wits and athletic ability you must have to play.

In baseball, the base runner is allowed to lead off from the base as far as he may want, in order to make it to the next base in an easier fashion. Keep in mind that the bases are 30 feet long from each other, but that also means the catcher has a longer distance to throw the ball. With the runner leading off it is almost given that the runner will make it safe when stealing from one base to another.
A baseball's field is very much larger than a softball field. Why would you want a smaller field in the case of you hitting the ball. With the larger field, you are able to hit the ball in gaps that the outfielders could not possibly cover all at one time. You have to make your opponent judge how far you are going to hit it and where you will hit the ball. Making your opponent second guess their selves is exactly what you would want as a good baseball player. It shows the fear that they feel when you are up at the plate, and knowing whether they will back down is a thrill of a lifetime.
In baseball you throw an over hand pitch to the catcher. Everyone knows that this technique is more beneficial because of the speed and accuracy you can have while throwing the smaller, 9 inch ball. This gives you a great advantage over the batter you
