Introduction
In this report an investigation was about testicular cancer, what it is, who it affects. Treatments available, ways to manage it and a define way to run a campaign successfully. I will also talk about a campaign I am going to run.
1. Testicular cancer
Usually the cells within the testicle grow in a control manner but occasionally they grow in an abnormal way causing the testicles to change shape and size.
With the help of the pituitary gland the main male sex hormone testosterone is manufactured with is vital in the male anatomy, the testicles help a man make sperm which makes them a very vital organ in a man’s reproductive system what is
This type of cancer happens in men, it affects the testicles and it is most commonly known to affect males aged 15 to 44 years old.
Types
Germ cell testicular cancer is said to be the most common type of testicular cancer in men. This type of cancer is responsible for 95% of all incidents in the UK.
This type of cancer is divided in to two types:
Non-Seminomas responsible for a whole 40% of all reported cases while seminomas guilty of a whopping 60%.
Qualitative &Quantitative
Statistics
• Each year in britain, around 2,100 men are diagnosed with testicular cancer.
• Incidence rates of testicular cancer are increasing in men.
• It usually affects young or middle-aged men.
• Treatment for testicular cancer is very effective and nearly all men are cured.
• Like other cancers, it isn’t infectious and can’t be passed on to other people.
2. Skills needed to run the campaign

8. How data/information would be produced during or after the activity
Get people to fill out questionnaires at the end of the football game with a series of different questions. Also to ask some people to answer surveys. I will also interview a few people on how they thought about the advert on testicular cancer.
9. The planned evaluation of the event which includes reference to the principle of good practice
Qualitative research I got people to answer questionnaires, surveys and interviewed a few people. I would also use primary research when figuring out if my campaign was successful or not. If I was to redo this campaign I would advertise on advertisement boards in colleges, schools and workplaces. I would also advertise on the television and try and get a famous football player to endorse my campaign.
The location of the pituitary gland is in the sella turcica of the sphenoid bone and attaches to the hypothalamus(Marieb & Hoehn 441). The Hypothalamus is included in the function of the pituitary gland as it sends chemical stimulus to it(Marieb & Hoehn 442).Part of the pituitary is called the “ master endocrine gland” due to the fact that is produces many hormones that affect the whole body(Shannon 175).This part of the pituitary gland is called the anterior pituitary(Marieb & Hoehn 601). There are six hormones that the anterior pituitary secretes normally. These Hormones are growth hormones, thyroid stimulating hormones, adrenocorticotropic hormones, luteinizing hormones, follicle stimulating hormones and prolactin hormones( Shannon 175).The Hormone prolactin is one that in normal function stimulates the act of lactation for new mothers to feed their baby(Shannon 175).
...lso more people may be interested in buying this new flavor because they are the ones that voted on it. The campaign can also have T-shirts saying I voted or choose the new flavor. That way people can feel like they are part of the campaign. Also they could have received more participants if they offered cash money to the winners of contests. There should have been more than more donation places. The campaign should have also focus on drunk driving awareness. Show how to be responsible with drinking. Have celebrities talk about how big of a responsibility it is when you start drinking. More accessories could have been made too such a wrist bands, stickers, car magnets, posters,
Upon first receiving this assignment I was honestly not sure what I would do it on. Then I remember a very well done commercial from 2006. If you’re not sure what commercial I am referencing it is the ASPCA commercial with all the injured animals and "arms of an angel" playing in the background; furthermore, Sarah McLachlan voices over and stars in the commercial. The commercial does a good job of appealing to animal lovers sense of emotion (Pathos) through the photos and videos of helpless and beaten animals. Sarah McLachlan also appeals to animal lovers through the fact that she has been a longtime supporter of the ASPCA (Ethos). Also, the video includes statistics that can easily be proven these statistics help to support the commercials cause (logos). Finally, the commercial itself appeared on television which is a great medium to get a message across; in addition, this commercial is valid in any year and will always appeal to a
The penis consists of basically three cylinders, covered by several sheaths of tissue and, finally, by skin. A pair of corpora cavernosa form the erectile tissue that becomes engorged with blood during erection, acting like the inner tube of a tyre. They are surrounded by the tunica albuginea, a tough, inelastic, fibrous sheath, which might be compared with the tyre itself. When the penis becomes erect, the inner tubes (corpora cavernosa) inflate, filling the space within the tyre (tunica albugenia), making it more rigid.
The hormones produced from the endocrine system come from a wide range of different places. Among those responsible for hormone production are the glands and a few organs as well. The glands that are involved are the pituitary, thyroid, thymus, parathyroid, and adrenal. The organs, which also play a vital part, are the pancreas, gonads, kidneys, heart, and parts of the digestive tract. All these different glands or organs work together in the production of certain hormones. Those produced in one location will almost always have an effect on many other areas of the body, not just the surrounding tissues.
Planning included reaching out to other health organizations, objectives, and goals of health fair were established. The implementation includes getting volunteers, set up for the health fair. The evaluation of the process occurred throughout the implementation and changes were made as needed. The evaluation will be completed by gathering information from health booth to determine the number of participants. Review vendor and participant evaluations about the health fair including how they heard about the health fair, ratings of booths and suggestions for improvements. Record everything to determine changes. Reflection on past experiences and what worked and did not work.

Prostate cancer has been the number one diagnosed cancer today. According to the World Health Organization, approximately one in every ten American men will develop prostate cancer during his lifespan. This cancer has been very common in the last few years. American Cancer Society reported over 200,000 new cases of prostate cancer. Huge number of population suffered severely. The prostate is significant for reproduction. It helps the substances that are involved in fertilization and transporting of sperm as well as survival. Prostate tumor is developed in the prostate gland, which is found in the men’s reproductive system. Prostate is the size of a walnut, which is located inferiorly in the penis and anterior to the rectum. It contains the connective tissue, which includes the glandular and fibrous tissues. This tumor starts to develop during their adolescent year due to the control of the male reproductive hormones. When the tumor starts to develop, it begins at the urethra, which is a tube that releases the urine from the bladder. The tumor is a slow development yet it is contagious to the other parts of the body, such as it does affect the pelvic bones, lungs, liver, and the lower vertebrae (Zenka, 2009).
The testes produce sperm and sex hormones, testosterone. Surrounding each testis is a coiled tube called the epididymis, which collects and stores sperm, very much similar to that of a human. Before ejaculation a seminal fluid is added by the seminal vesicles, to prevent the sperm from drying out.
Testicular cancer is a type of cancer that develops in the male’s testicles first then spreads to other parts of the body. It most commonly spreads to the lymph nodes after it spreads throughout the testicles. Testicles are part of the male’s reproductive system that makes testosterone, the male hormone, and sperm. It is treatable and can usually be cured. The signs of testicular cancer are lumps, swelling, and pain in your testicles. You can check for these lumps yourself, but it is better and more important to check with your doctor for lumps annually. Testicular cancer isn’t caused by much, but there are some risks.

The thyroid gland is part of the endocrine system, and it is controlled by the pituitary which is known as the “master gland” of the endocrine system. The pituitary controls the thyroid by producing Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) which stimulates the production of thyroid hormones. . The thyroid gland secretes two main hormones: Thyroxine (T4) and Tri-Iodothyronine (T3). These hormones increase metabolic rate, heat production, oxygen consumption, appetite, growth hormone secretion, alertness and quicker reflexes. The thyroid gland is located in the anterior portion of the neck, beneath the Adam’s apple. It is divided in two lobes on either side of the windpipe: right lobe and left lobe. These lobes create what looks like a butterfly shape. The gland is essential to the contribution of maintaining the homeostasis of the body. It plays a role in monitoring the body’s expenditure of energy and running the body’s metabolism.
When I learned that I had to write this research paper, instead of procrastinating, I convinced myself to JUST DO IT. This phrase also happens to be one of the signature phrases of the leading athletic apparel company, Nike. The JUST DO IT campaign has been very successful for Nike, but it is not he sole reason for their success. Nike’s campaign has definitely persuaded me to go out and buy a few Nike products. So what exactly does Nike’s persuasive campaign consist of? This paper will discuss all aspects of Nike’s persuasive campaign. Some of the campaign’s strategies, goals, and techniques will be revealed. Some persuasive theories that can be applied to the Nike advertising campaign will be identified and explained. After discussing these theories, the specific arguments of the campaign will be validated. Overall, the entire campaign will be analyzed and it will be determined whether the campaign is a success or a failure.
The male reproductive system is a set of organs that works together to produce sperm which will later in life fertilize females eggs. The testes are the most important part of the system because it produces sperm cells. It is similar and looks similar to ovaries of a female’s reproductive system because it also holds what they need to reproduce. Its job is to produce the sperm cells needed to reproduce. Due to hormonal imbalances the production of sperm cells may not even be possible in some males. Testosterone is the male the hormone that gives men there manly characteristics. It is made up of hydrogen, carbon, and oxygen with a white color. In the male body it helps develop sex organs, a deeper voice, and facial hair (Khalid, 2013). Cancer or a genetic disorder in males is the most common thing that cause the reductions of testosterone production in the body. Behind the testes is the epididymis which lets sperm go through the vas deferens from the testes (Dictionary, 2014). It looks like leach the way it is position right on the testes but it is thinner. When sperm is produces the ...
...culatory system. Pituitary gland is a growth hormone that helps in mertabolism and develops reproductive organs. The thyroid controls metabolsim on the rate that the body breaks down food. Adrenal gland secretes many hormones including adrenaline which prepares the body to react in a stressful situation. The pancreas produces digestive enzymes and insulin. Ovaries produce ova and estrogen. Testes produce sperm cells and testosterone. To stay healthy you should get a regular medical check-up, eat a well-balanced diet, sleep at least 8 hours, and decrease stress in your life. Some problems are growth disorders, diabetes, and obesity. Puberty begins at different times for girls then boys. Girls start around ages 9-13 and boys are ages 10-15.
