As talented as she is, she is a girl who will never let anything stop her from doing what she loves. Leslie didn’t have a father growing up therefore many believe that they put the blame of there father into there own hands and don’t follow there dreams. Leslie on other hands was different she always had support she didn’t need more than a mother and a sister to guide her through every step of the way. She was inspired to be strong no matter what happens in life by her mom. She was a mom and a dad to Leslie she would give her the full attention she needed. She loved singing britney spears music. One Halloween her mom asked her what she wanted to be and she said I want to be britney spears. One day she told her mom she wanted to do acting and singing. So she asked her to sign her up for lessons for her to get better but her mom told her she couldn’t because she couldn’t afford it. She felt like her dreams were just crushed so she gave up and she remembers when she was an elementary they were having a class for singing and they were going to have auditions and 2 days before she got sick. Every time she tried to continue her dreams she was stopped. In middle school she tried again and her mom didn’t let her because she said that’s not going to take her anywhere. Then she came to high school where she gave it a chance her 10th grade year where a kid named marcos motivated her to try it . It helped her realize this is who she is and she felt the passion. Her first show the odd couple she was so nervous and she just remembered telling herself she needs to prove her mom wrong and show her this is who she is. She felt like crying but marcos helped her through her fear.
