All Americans should volunteer their services in their community. High School students are required to volunteer so many hours before they are eligable to graduate. Most High Schools now have a minimum of fifty hours that they make their students do before they allow them to walk across that stage and get their deploma.

Volunteering your help or service for someone else's benifit makes you a better person in the long run. Not everything should be about what you get out of the situation. It can be a simple task, maybe you see a elderly woman struggling to carry some bags and you decide to rush over and help her. It is truely the little things that make them happy. That is what volunteering is all about anyway.

In other people's minds, Volunteering their services means they have decided to join the military. Not only for the benifits they get in the process, but also the benifits they get to help our country with. Most of the people that serve the country in the military help war torn countries and their people. Most people say, "When someone joins the military, they are signing away their life." They may sign papers to join, but they aren't signing anything that they don't want to. They have made a choice to help other people and theirselves achieve better. …show more content…
