Einstein is a German-born mathematician and physicist who won the Nobel Prize in physics in 1921. His interest in math a science began well around the age of four, but by the time he was thirteen, he was reading and understanding scientific material that many adults found impossible to comprehend. As ironic as it may seem, others initially thought that the young Einstein would never truly amount to anything. It was not long before others would realize what tremendous abilities Albert Einstein possessed. Einstein would, and in fact did, revolutionize modern physics, change the perception of the universe, and his research would bring about new discoveries that did innovate the world. He proved that the net forward displacement of suspended particles is directly related to a number of molecules per gram atomic weight (“Albert” 299). Knowing the atomic weight of atoms has given scientists the ability to categorize the elements, create compounds, and understand fusion for nuclear energy. Though it was once criticized, Brownian motion is now regarded as one of the most direct proofs of the existence of atoms. Einstein’s discoveries and theories have revolutionized science and modern physics, changing the way people once viewed the world to a more beautiful and informed place. There are a number of circumstances where Albert Einstein’s theories and innovations transformed the way the world perceives the universe. In his special theory of relativity and general theory of relativity, Einstein reexamined some of the most fundamental ideas in science and created a completely new outlook on the nature of space and time (Feldman 264). This means that the measured time between any two events in space by two identical clocks won’t automatically comply, even though the same time is shown. Einstein transformed people’s understanding of the universe and opened their imagination to all kinds of possibilities. Einstein’s work also opened the door to new possibilities such as nuclear power plants and nuclear weapons. “His work on the photoelectric effect contributed to the birth of quantum physics, which is the ultimate basis for all of modern electronics, including computers and cell phones” (Delano 59). These advances in science and modern technology is used in everyday life, from calling a friend to searching up info online. People rely on much of these more than they realize. Einstein’s ‘mark’ can be seen in people’s daily life such as cell phones, computers, astronomy, and much more.
