As previously stated, power is the ability or right to control people or things. This power may be used to take advantage of people or to help the greater good. Although most people use their power for good, there are a few who choose to take advantage of their position of power. For example, Adolf Hitler abused the power that he gained through his persuasive public speaking skills. He convinced a large amount of people that he could do great things for Germany throughout the war. He gained their trust by fixing their economy and used that trust against them.
