A Knight’s Dream

I believe in Fantasy so I can open doors into new worlds. Nothing amounts to the worlds I’ve visited through fantasy. I always wish that I could go visit Middle-Earth or other worlds I’ve seen in books, video games and movies. Fantasy worlds are always beautiful with a heavy emphasis on “beauty can be dangerous”. Fantasy worlds are always filled with stunning views, such as grasslands, forests and mountains, but they always come with a catch. There’s always some type of danger being men and beasts. My favorite creatures in fantasy are the dragons. Dragons are a huge source of power and will that I like to portray on myself. I think that honoring others is a good habit to have, as it allows you to gain the loyalty and respect of others. I also think that chivalry is a great way of life. Trying to be a good spirited individual, helping out those in need and respecting others really shows who I am. I’m always trying to get others to laugh and help out when in need. Fantasy was something I grew up with, and I got my passion from my father. I grew up with “Lord of the Rings” and I absolutely love the world and characters. My father was the one to introduce me to LOTR and I’ve loved it ever since. Although I was extremely young for the first two films the third came out in 2007. My dad always told me how he always watched them on release, after watching the ones before in a marathon. I took that tradition and applied it to “The Hobbit” films. My friends and I went to go see every movie on the release, and even better after all the films were out we watched all six films to the best of our ability. One of the best eighteen hours of my life, but in August of 2015 my dad passed away and I was left broken. I didn’t react to things like I used to, and didn’t socialize much. I always had dreams where he and I were hunters in another world, fighting bandits and slaying dragons. This is why I believe in fantasy, it has shown me many new and exciting worlds, it’s allowed my imagination to flow, and it's taught
