First of all, thank you allowing me to teach your children. It has been an awesome experience getting to know your child and spending the year with them and watching them grow as individuals.
Just a few notes to end the year:
1. On Tuesday May 17th we will be eating lunch at the middle school. We will also get a tour of the 6th grade building, look at parts of the middle school/high school, and meet with the teachers, principal, and assistant principal.
2. 5th grade awards day is the 18th of May at 10:00 AM. In 5th grade, students will receive awards for Presidential Academics, Physical Fitness, Tarzan, Principal’s, and Citizenship. No individual classroom awards are given out.
3. Our band concert is May 18th at 5:00 at the elementary
These students go to the high school as well, and look forward to getting to
I’m so happy to be given the opportunity to join National Junior Honor Society(NJHS). I would love to be a member. I think it is important for kids to be involved in the community. Also, myself personally it would be an honor to be a face for our school.
As a student at Northvale Public School, I have grown up with my older siblings being inducted into an organization called the National Junior Honor Society. I had seen all the hard work and dedication they put into their school work and activities just to get into this society, making me want to be just like them. Then a few weeks ago, I found a note on my desk in homeroom telling me that I had been nominated to be apart of this society. Through citizenship and character, leadership, and service, I intend on being inducted into the society I have heard so much about. Though it will take a lot of effort this school year, being a part of this society is a dream of mine that I will make sure to come true.
Our children finish school today. It's all going to be quite strange to them for a while, and I wish you would treat them kindly. They are starting out on a new adventure. It is an adventure that may include war and tragedy and sorrow. To make their way they will require a great deal of faith, love, tolerance and understanding.
Becoming an intrical part of the National Junior Honor Society would be a great privilege. NJHS established in 1929. From its conception, it has validated five guiding principles, which are; enthusiasm for scholarship, desire to render service, leadership, responsible citizenship, and development of character. Thus, I would not only like to join for the academic recognition, but to further develop and challenge myself within these areas. For many years, NJHS has paved a road to success for many alumni. Hopefully soon, I will be counted amongst them.
When it comes to Halloween dressing up is fun, but what if someone takes it to the extreme? What happens when someone decides to take things a few steps forward? What happens when someone decides they are going to defame everything you worked so hard for? Pretends to do some things that your best friends, brothers, and sisters have put their lives on the line for. Claims to have done things, or got injured by something someone wouldn’t even dream of. When someone decides to put on a “costume,” the same outfit you happen to call your uniform. Then parades around pretending he/she knows more about your job than you do, then lies to your face when you question them about their duties. Takes advantage of everything you have worked so hard to accomplish. So what are the consequences of someone pretending to have gotten the medals, faking injury to get benefits, and claiming to be a decorated military soldier?
Good afternoon, let me just start by saying that the kindness, support, friendship, and love extended to me and my family during this difficult time has really touched my heart- we are sincerely appreciative!
Additionally, on Wednesday, I am a mentor for my third grade buddy! Two weeks ago, we began the year with the annual Ice Cream Social at the students’ schools. This social is exciting because the students and mentors are able to meet for the first time or are able to reunite if the students are returners. The mentors have the chance to meet the guardians or family members of the students as well! As a general manager, I had the chance to meet all 15 of the students who will be in my buddy family on Mondays. Also, I took the time to introduce myself to all of the students’ guardians and learn something about each student! As a mentor, I was so excited to be reunited with my little buddy and talk with his parents again! It was unbelievable to see how much he had changed and we were so excited to see each other! We were pen pals over the summer, but we stopped writing a few months ago. My little buddy and I talked about the following: activities that we were excited for, his favorite activities from the previous year, how his summer went, his interests, and his least favorite activities from the previous
Our nomination goes to Ms. McCarty. We nominated her because she is a great teacher that always makes time to help her students with school or personal problems. She cares a lot for her students and tries to build a friendship with each and every one of them by helping them grow and develop according to their strengths. During class she encourages her student to be more open. To us she doesn't just meet the criteria of an amazing teacher, but also a great friend and role model that’s always there for us.
With this school being an Elementary School specializing in Kindergarten through Fifth Grade, the students would be grouped with other children of their stature. Meaning they will be grouped with children of the same age and intelligence. There will also be limited class sizes, thus letting the teacher help any individual that may need some assistance.
Gold is one of the most popular metals as investment. Because of its high and consistent value, it is considered one of the safest commodities to invest in. There are several ways of using gold as an investment. Gold can be physically bough in the form of bullion bars or bullion coins. Gold exchange products can be traded in major stock exchanges in the same manner as shares. These include closed-end products or CEFs, exchange-traded notes or ETNs, and exchange-traded funds or ETFs. Gold accounts can be availed from banks and their management greatly depends on whether it is an unallocated or an allocated gold account. Gold certificates used to circulate as money until the United States restricted private gold ownership in 1933. Buying shares in gold mining companies comes with structural, management, and political risks but investing in the right company at the right time can increase share prices to as much as 20%.
The day has finally arrived! I had been waiting for this day to come for forever it felt like. I am no longer in elementary school. Today is the day that I start Junior High. I can not wait to go to school . I rush out of the house door to meet my friends as quickly as I can, bursting with excitement.
Organizing any party is a daunting task. If you are tired of finding the party venue and exhausted of negotiating with the decorators then it is best to the services of a professional party organizer. Birthday is a special occasion and everyone wants this day celebrations to be grand and remembered for long.
I have made many achievements in my life. I am happy to be such an achiever at things. I remember my first achievement which was in kindergarten. In kindergarten I got on the honor roll for the first time. I was so happy, but I was just happy because my mom was happy. I didn’t even know what honor roll meant, but I finally founded out that is meant that I got all A’s. My mom was so happy for me, and I got lot of money for my A’s. After that my next achievement was that I learn how to ride a bike. When I first started to ride a bike with no training wheels I kept on falling. After I kept falling I didn’t want to learn anymore, but I saw that my little cousin was riding a bike, so I just had to learn how to ride a bike. Finally, after all the sores and burses, I learned how to ride a bike. I still fall every now and then.
I was beginning to plan a night out for my 22nd birthday celebration with my fiance and my closest friends. I was unsure of where I wanted to celebrate it. A few days before my birthday I had fallen ill and was thinking of celebrating it another weekend so I could rest. I had put in some overtime at work, not eaten the best and had gotten very little sleep, I was convinced that was just it.
