Parenting is an issue that draws the researchers’ attention due to its complex and controversial nature. The questions and problems concerned with parenting engage the professionals from various areas, including psychology, education, sociology, psychotherapy and many other specific fields. At the same time, this issue touches upon various spheres of child-parent relationships: child-rearing practices and attitudes of parents, characteristics of the child's personality as a result of family influences, especially of the parents, the nature of the marital relationship, etc. Attitudes, whether the parents are strict or very kind, play a quite significant role at parenting as they represent a thought-provoking sphere, which is based on many different opinions and approaches aimed at finding the most balanced way to bring up a child. To begin with, each parent has their approach to parenting. As far as I’m concerned, it is not the strict or the kind attitude that matters. Good parents are not afraid to have their own opinion when they need to give good results at moderate severity, and moderate softness. On the other hand, the strictness emanating from coarseness, or softness emanating from shyness or lack of principle, can lead to poor results (Spock, 1988). Result of education does not depend on the degree of strictness or mildness, but rather on feelings of the child and from those principles of life that parents are planting it. Strict upbringing is not bad, it makes children independent and disciplined, but if such education goes into the category of authoritarian, independence speech cannot justify it. Authoritarian parenting method generates complexes and nervousness in children. Very strict parents and authorities, carrying a ... ... middle of paper ... ... are, by nature, good people, and if the children grow up happy and sociable. But austerity is harmful if the parents are rude to kids and their constantly unhappy if they do not make their claims discounts on age and individual characteristics of the child. In such circumstances, the child will grow and colorless or faint-hearted or cruel man. In conclusion, it would be necessary to state that strict parenting is not a very bad thing, if the family still has the loving atmosphere and the strictness comes from the particular situations where it is needed. Parents who prefer the ease in dealing with a child who did not attach much importance to his manners and do not insist on absolute obedience and accuracy, also raise sociable and attentive to the surrounding people, if they are not afraid to stand firm in those issues that they consider particularly important.
