The snail moves through contractions, via the use of its foot. They often also produce slime which allows them to glide across surfaces. The snails’ eyes appear at the end of their tentacles as a black dot. The radula is a tongue/tooth-like appendage that is used for consumption of prey. Its purpose is to scrape food before it enters the body of the snails. Nudibranchs poison comes from the food that they eat. Specifically, sea anemones and corals. The sex of our squid was female.
