They are defining features of individuals with autistics spectrum conditions ranging from social interaction problems, social communication, totally different way of seeing things, lifetime experiences, these chord of impairments have a variety of names and descriptions for instance the Asperger syndrome , pathological demand avoidance. These can affect any sex regardless. Asperger said that the less disabled individuals are more likely to develop fluent speech and vocabulary though they may use it oddly. Individuals with autism have atypical eye-gaze, gestures, and more non-verbal means of communication and they react extremely to noise and have obsession with materials. Some individuals have behavioural problems like destructive tendencies or being aggressive. Autistics spectrum conditions have a variety of defining features like stereotypes, repetitive behaviours and routines. With the stereotype it is characterized by repeated or ritualistic movements; stance or speech. Common autistic rituals are waving, spinning, or flapping of the hands. These are done as way of an individual’s motivation to do something or as way of calming self. These behaviours start at an early age and may develop to complex rituals like one would only wear a certain type of clothes. In planning activities the individual should be involved with the active support so as to promote independence and reassure the service user as relationships develop. The practice will have to include activities that bring out skills and experiences. Care plans for individuals are to be updated regularly.
