We live in a world where every topic of study has become controversial. The purpose of this paper an ongoing study into the world of Autism. Autism is defined as” a mental condition present from early childhood characterized by difficulty in communication and forming relationships with other people and in using language and abstract concepts”(www.oxford,dictionaries.com).The cause of it, if any. How autism has effected children, family, the risk factors, and if any cure or solution can get rid of this childhood disease.

It’s not a race, ethnic, culture, social, particular class, gender, family, lifestyle, or even education level. It affects us all. Autism can also fall under Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) which means it encompasses a set of characteristic that range in severity of presentation (Boyd & Shaw, 2010). Another definition that brings understanding to this disease for Autism Spectrum disorder “is a serious neurodevelopmental disorder that impairs child’s ability to communicate and interact with others. That includes restricted, repetitive behaviors, interests, and activities” (Mayo Clinic).
Autism is most common and most missed diagnosed disease. Autism is considered as a spectrum because each person have their own personal trait and characteristic. “Diagnosing autism spectrum disorder (ASD) can be difficult, since there is no medical test, like blood test, to diagnose the disorders. They look at the child’s behavior to make a diagnosis” (www.cdc.gov). Some parents are in denial with this disease and will not get the early intervention that could help. We need to educate as much as possible about autism. Autism is a lifelong condition and with early detection, intervention and therapy. This can help to increase skills and abilities to help children grow and reduce the symptoms cause by this
