When we think of the office of President, what kind of person comes to mind? Does he have to be wise and make good decisions? Does he have to look good in a suit? Maybe he should just be a person that you trust in to keep The United States of America running smooth. Well if that is what you think of when you think of the President, my candidate is all of that plus much more. Superman would be the perfect commander in chief of these United States.
The first of my candidates multiple qualities is respect for the people. Past presidents didn’t have that characteristic. He realizes that the people come first, that is the whole purpose of becoming the president. Serving the citizen would be his number one priority. When he was working for a newspaper company, he used to secretly go out and save people’s lives, putting his own life in danger. Rescuing old ladies from burning buildings, helping the police bring down some of the toughest villains, he even will get a cat stuck in a tree to come down.
The second of my client’s endless amount of outstanding qualities is his ability to make quick and precise decisions. We need a president that will not crack under the pressure of making an important choice for this country. The September 11th incident would be the perfect example. There is a better way to handle this than just bombing everywhere. If Superman were president the planes would have been stopped in their tracks and placed safely on the ground. The economy is another area t...
Of the most powerful people in the world, the President of the United States of America hits the top of the list. Even though the policy agendas that presidents set as they take office often go unfulfilled, the office of President is still one of the most envied spots to have. But why could this be? It is because the United States is the most powerful nation in the world and with the President as the leader, he is said to have the most power in the world ("Top Ten Most Powerful Countries in the World"). With power comes responsibility and with this position he must govern a country while abiding by the rules.
... appointed him. He felt he deserve credit for helping to set this country on the right path towards freedom, prosperity, and loyalty to the country. Although they might not appreciate it now, his confident future generations will follow his lead to make this country the best it can be. For that generation he could offer this, once you set your goals, never give up. He had numerous jobs as minister and ambassadors to many different countries before he finally won the election to become the President. The path he traveled was not easy, but I think he believed his hard work paid off. I think if he still alive today he would probably take revenge on all those crooked politicians he had been hearing about who take bribes and shred confidential documents. They deteriorate the fabric this country was built on, and it will be a long time before it is fully repaired.
A presidents persona and character are determining factors of a president's policies and ideas. Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt was one of the greatest, most influential presidents that there ever was. Theodore Roosevelt made America a stronger and more powerful nation due to all of his careers and achievements in his life.
... by Robert Finch, “He wasn’t nearly as attractive, physically, as some of the other candidates, but he was so intense; he was a strong personality. You regarded him as a comer, someone who would be effective and successful in political activity. I was impressed by his obvious political skills, his intelligence, and his drive (Strober 31).” This definitely sounds like some qualities that would make a good president and the public agreed by electing him President.
A fantastic president would always be trying to come up with new ideas that won't affect people in a bad way. They would need to be great public speakers, honest, powerful, persuasive, and respectful. Most importantly though, they need to be able to lead their country through the specific problems facing them
When it comes to United States Presidents, everyone has an opinion of each president’s effectiveness. It takes character and talent to hold up to the stress of the White House. One aspect of a leader that measures their effectiveness is their capability to handle a crisis; another is their ability to make decisions for the betterment of whomever they lead, while still taking in all opinions. One example of an extremely effective president that successfully used those qualities was Abraham Lincoln.
He always upheld his appointed duties as a sense of honor. For example, when he was appointed Commander in Chief of the Continental Army in the Revolutionary War, he showed a sense of humility because he didn’t think he was capable for the task but would take it on with all of his strength. He also said very little in public meetings as he lacked the charisma of many other Founding Fathers, which could portray him as dull and boring, two traits that others may label gold personalities. Another famous person that has a gold personality is Queen Victoria. As a mother that dearly loved her children, Victoria showed a sense of security for her children, which gold personalities have been shown to have.
Contrary to popular belief he was not the “machine-like psychotic,” so many people make him out to be. In his inaugural speech, given in March 1913, he stated, “This is a not a day of triumph, it is a day of dedication. Here muster, not the forces of party, but the forces of humanity. Men’s hearts wait upon us; men’s lives hang in the balance; men’s hopes call upon us to say what we will do. Who shall live up to the great trust? Who dares fail to try? I summon all honest men, all patriotic, all forward-looking men, to my side. God helping me, I will not fail them, if they will but counsel and sustain me.” This was the attitude that Wilson carried out all of his activities with. He jumped into the Presidency with complete dedication. He truly loved the executive responsibility.
that he cared for the people and that he would do just about anything to help
Becoming a president isn't as easy as we may think. It takes a lot of time and is a big process and involves many people to decide on If he or she will be right for the job.
Do you have what it takes to be a qualified candidate?Elective officials also known as candidate have a very important role in society. The president started off as a candidate and he is a important person to the U.S because he runs everything that protects us and keep the country from going down hill.He has been dealing with terrorism and more ,and that is a lot of work for one man to do but he still does it.That also includes passing laws to prevention of terrorist attacks.Along with all that comes great responsibility.A good candidate is well-educated, able to make good decisions, and possesses strong leadership qualities.
I show respect for everybody and believe that is one of the most important qualities for a president. A president should be able and will to listen to others.
The president’s accumulation of personal power can make up for his lack of institutional powers. The president must act as the “lubricant” for the other sectors of government in order to preserve order and accomplish business. Neustadt emphasizes the president’s ability to forge strong personal relationships and his or her charisma, indicating that these characteristics affect the president’s ability to persuade. According to Neustadt, a successful president persuades the public, congress, and foreign powers to align their motives and views with him. Two presidents who validate this statement are Franklin Delano Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson. As two presidents who do not validate this statement, Neustadt cites George W. Bush and Richard Nixon.
Across the world, ordinary people find heroes that they aspire to imitate. Comic books portray heroes as super strong men in spandex suits, and although a three-year-old child might aspire to be superman, more mature audiences hopefully find more realistic figures to idolize. Take Barack Obama, the President of the United States; he worked his entire life to attain the highest position in our government, President. Obama was not born with a silver spoon in his mouth but to a single mother in Hawaii. Through hard work and motivation, he went to college and received an education at Columbia University. He later obtained a law degree from Harvard University and began working with the Democratic Party. In 1996 he was elected to the Illinois Senate and acquired a seat in the United State’s Senate in 2004. After only 5 years of experience in the Senate, he was elected the 44th president. Obama’s exponential growth in importance and power could only have been achieved by an exemplary man. His determination, intelligence, hard work, and professionalism all made his success attainable, and he should be admired for these traits. Every country has a national hero and Barack Obama is the United State’s.
When Mr. Trump speaks, people listen. He is able to articulate and sell his ideas to you. He has had to do a lot of wheeling and dealing trying to acquire real estate, thus being able to persuade people by simply speaking is essential. Ability to Solve Problems Problem solving is another characteristic of effective leaders. You have to be able to take care of situations when they arise.
