From the star, the resolution of the United States’ foreign policy has been to protect the American constitutional system and the shared interests of the American people. The U.S. has thus been dedicated to providing for its common defense, defending the freedom of its commerce, and looking for peaceful relations with other nations. The most vital goal of American foreign policy is to remain defending the independence of the United States, so that America can rule itself according to its principles and search national interests. The people of America are the discussion maker of their country. America is one of the few countries where government acts on the interest of their people. Through from my interview essay what I learn is that American people have self-belief that their country should always act as the leader of the world .In my interview essay the interviewee said “America should protect itself from others and maintain the rule of law in the world(interview essay,1) . Thus, I can know the view of the citizens of America what they think about the role of their country. People of America always want their nation to be powerful and lead in all frontiers of global issues. We must take a leadership role in working with other in a collaborative way to address long term threats to humanity and maintain global issues is always raised by the American people. From the above it’s clear that America always want to be leader in global affair. It also explain that America cannot performance itself in the global affair ,which attempts to address the issue that it should always have better coalition or friendship with other nation to act on its command. Some critics think it is right decision but most argue that America should have to act as leader cause it is slowly losing its momentum as leader and other nation is slowly disagree with American policy. Finally what I like to say is America role in the world is made by the citizen of the country. Through the different time phase the people always stood with the decision of their leader .They continue supporting and also aware about the decision. Whatever I point out I realize that the America country is made through the wish and will of people power .People power is regarded as greatest power of the American society. As I found out the different concept of the American people through research that they want their nation to be role model and also caution the leaders not to take a wrong decision

It didn't take long, by 1900; the U.S. began flexing its muscles. The Caribbean and Pacific Islands became a national interest. A classic example of which started the poor American foreign policy was in 1891 in Chile. Secretary of State James G. Blaine became involved in a border dispute between Mexico and Guatemala, tried settling a war between Peru, Bolivia and Chile. Chile held a riot against American troops. Blaine threatened Chile with war, and they were forced to apologize to America and pay an indemnity of $75,000. This established America as a world power, but also tarnished their role in foreign policy before it even got off the ground. Many more incidents like this occurred after the event with Chile, the biggest being the pursuit of the Panama Canal. America continued moving into to foreign land, and when problems arose, America began implementing an American model of government in these areas, believing that was the only way to solve the problems.
