Life isn't going to always go your way, your going to have obstacles but your heart is bigger than those obstacles so use it. When you fight an obstacle make sure you always remember all the good things you have in your life. Use those to strengthen yourself. I've learned from being an 8th grader that you have to appreciate what you have things aren't always going to be the way they are now. Include yourself with right people. If they are doing actions you believe aren't correct then use that nekton mentality to fight against the waves of terrible. Help other people that are in need, put yourself in new situations, and never take anything for granted. Through the years I've learned many things on how to behave or even how to treat others, …show more content…
Effects can change in an instant. When you take something for granted you don't realize what you really have and then when they are gone you regret all the decisions you made before, saying, “ Oh man, I wish I would have treated that object with more care.” You are stronger than being one of those people. There are alot of people that dont have what you have. Instead of using you items as they dont matter, charesh all of them. You should be donating your time to those in need, not playing on your phone,, playing games, or even sitting around doing nothing. All you have to do is ask your parents, I’m sure they will agree with you and donate their time as well, even if it's just cleaning out your closet of small clothes, do anything that will help the community. After Adora Skitale said, “Adults should learn from kids,” I realized that kids have a lot more purpose in the community than most think but some kids do see that they don't have a purpose in their community when they are young, they have to grow up to do something great when they can start doing amazing acts now. That is something take for granted, just because I’m not realized is not an excuse for you not to put yourself in new situations. That is my next topic, take
Life can always change direction. We can have certain obstacles that challenge us. Sometimes this makes us stronger and we can always learn through these times. We always have
If you have a connection with someone or if you have people that support you like how R had Julie than life will be easier since you would have positive people around you and that would make you have a positive mind set so please look on the bright side of
... front of me since the road to success is far away. Facing unknown obstacles is like drowning in water because obstacles are weighted heavily and sometimes I can't lift it. I just have to use my strength and hopefully, I can raise it off me. I learned that sometimes it is better to have a little false hope than to have none. Perseverance doesn’t not come naturally to all people but eventually it will come because they will find it. It helps them find their inner self by going through obstacles so that they can be more of a life challenge. I believe that this can change a person who they are because it is something everyone needs to go through life.
These last four years have been rough on me but luckily there have been some lessons learned through it. I have just looked forward and moved on to greater things in life. I leave behind the bad and move on to the good. A good quote to describe my adventure through high school is when Jeannette is talking to her mother. The mother says, “ Things usually work out in the end,” to where Jeannette replies, “What if they don’t?” The mother answers with, “That just means you haven’t come to the end yet.” The quote describes my struggles in life and also brings hope for a happier
There may be pain and suffering but good things will come if you can persevere. A life is not defined from one action but rather from a combination of experience, trial, and failures. This read was very interesting and I would recommend it to anyone, especially to those who can relate to going through trials at this point in their life. Completing your journey is a very important step in your life. Siddhartha achieved his goal to find peace in his life, a goal all of us hope to achieve one
There is the mind set of “do unto others as you would have done to you”, the golden Rule, most of us learned early on in life. But as we go through life we start to get our own sense of ethical and moral behavior. We see others acting in a manner in which we would like to act, and wonder how to become more like that person, more times than not, this starts with a parent or sibling, or close family friend. At this early time we are developing our ideas of right and wrong, as well as healthy and unhealthy behaviors.
In life we all face obstacles. The troubles that we face don’t define us, how we overcome the situation is what makes us the people we are today. Throughout my life I have faced many trials and tribulations that I had to overcome with the help of my mother, ofcourse. I was smooth sailing in life until I started high school.
Overcoming adversity is imperative. In fact, you can 't have the happiness and success you want unless you have adversity in your life and overcome it. It is essential for progressing into who you want to be. It shows you what you are made of. It teaches you more about yourself, how to approach what you want, and how to maintain the success that you have. Without it, you wouldn 't know how far you could go or how capable you are because you wouldn 't have anything to push you or compare to.
Life Lesson As an underclassman you come into high school either thinking that the next four years of your schooling will be really easy or really stressful. To tell the truth, it can be both, whether you come into high school with a positive or negative attitude. High school is the last place you can get away with some mistakes and try again. The next four years will test your skills and responsibilities.
Life may throw many challenges in your path, but as long as you have friends to help guide you along the way, you will make it through. You only live once. Make it
Nelson Mandela once said, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” If education really is a weapon how many people are left unarmed? Who is prepared for the future, for change? In a perfect world, everyone would have this opportunity but unfortunately, that is not reality. Living where we do, we have access to a quality public education.
When Christians first encounter the idea of creating a spiritual discipline, some almost instantly become overwhelmed with anxiety because they must perform well for God to please Him and get to heaven. I was once one of them and to a point, I still think that way. However, the more focus on the relationship with Jesus and nothing else brings about the desires to want more in terms of spiritual growth. Desires however, do not last if disciplines are not met with a genuine commitment to maintain a fervent relationship with Jesus. For my rule of life, I will pencil in daily life disciplines that fit in the season of life that I am in currently so that God can work in me and I can become Christ like. First, I will commit fifteen minutes to daily prayer with God. Second, I will commit fifteen minutes to daily scripture reading. Third, I will commit to lead, encourage and support my wife by living out the vows that we both agreed to with God. Fourth, I will commit myself to my family in raising my two
With God, anyone can deal with anything. He gives us challenges for a reason. When people take on these challenges, they become stronger and are able to deal with more of life's challenges that will come in the coming years. There is a reason for everything.
Because of what I learned from hitting this “hurdle” in life, I have decided to make the most out of the life I have been given. Overcoming the adversity of losing a loved one has not only challenged me, but has given me a perspective and wisdom that most people are only able to learn through challenges like this one. Life is unpredictable. Like hurdles, life evokes fear, strength, and courage. Life is often like a race, everyone is forced to face their own obstacles, however, like Nelson Mandela once said, “Our greatest glory lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.” Throughout life, everyone is bound to face their own set of hurdles, however, the important part is learning to get up, keep moving, and apply what was learned from the experience to overcoming the next
Those obstacles have made me a stronger person than I was before and I am thankful for them. I also have God to thank because without him, I wouldn 't have made it through these past four years. He was with me the entire journey, even in the moments where it seemed like he wasn 't. With college I will further my computer career making more successful in the field I enjoy doing. The gateway to a good future is college and that is why I plan on going to college. College is the most important goal of my life. It is the goal that I mostly focused on throughout my entire career. This year is the most important year of my life: it is the turning point of my life. The way I act, what I do, the classes I take. Everything matters. My future is before me and I am not sure if I can walk the road which I plan. As Ralph Waldo Emerson once said "Life is a journey, not a
