Who here likes Zombies? Who here likes Romantic comedies? Well I have the perfect movie for you, WARM BODIES!!! Who here likes Silent Discos? Who here likes Drama? Well I have the perfect play for you, SILENT DISCO!!!Now, you must be wondering why I ‘m saying all this, Well you see these two texts are connected. They show “A teenage life is the hardest kind of life.” And the theme “Connection and Disconnection” and how they are related.
Now Just imagine if you had to tell the girl or boy you like that you ate there boyfriend or girlfriend. Imagine how hard that would be, I personally don’t think it would go down well. You see in Warm Bodies R had to do exactly that and you can see the pained expression on his face when he said “It was me” …show more content…

He drops it on the grass and he runs.” This shows stage direction and it shows how tough it must have been for Squid to see his girlfriend might I add cheat on him with his brother. This influences us because it makes us feel heartbroken for squid since no one should ever have to go through that experience and how disconnected Squid and Tamara actually are.
Envisage that you are a zombie who walks super slow and your only communication is saying only a few words super slow or grunting and you have to save the human race. You would be in a very tricky situation but luckily R did that but it wasn’t as smooth as he would of liked it to be because in a two shot you see Julie’s Dad have a gun to R’s head when R and Julie try to explain how R and the other zombies are changing into humans. This shows how two people have the same goal of saving the world but have completely different views on how to.
There is an interruption in Silent Disco when Tamara says “Shit, Sorry. That was/” because Squid is not happy that Tamara thought Squid’s mum was the person who sleeps outside seven eleven. It shows that Squid’s mum is a sensitive subject and he doesn’t want people to say appalling things about his family when they know nothing about his …show more content…
