Have you ever thought about leaving earth? To leave everything behind and start another life that is hard work? That’s what some people are doing today. They’re going to Mars. How about you? Would you want to join those people? Probably or maybe, probably not. There are risk you have to take and real obstacles you have to go through.
First of all, I believe you shouldn’t go to Mars because of money. It wouldn’t help if people had to spend millions of dollars to make one person leave. The people would lose so much money that bad things would happen to people and our economy. When more people join, more money is spent. What would then happen to all that money next. Do you think the money could be spent on something else helpful. Could it be spent on something useful and not for greedy use?

Space is a big vacuum that would be extremely dangerous depending what and how you are doing. Space has dangerous radiation waves that can harm the human body such as cosmic radiation and and the sun’s powerful rays. The people going into space cannot be the only one that is harmed. Maybe the workers who are helping the project are in some kind of danger too. What this means is that the workers have to built large things that are dangerous to build and could cause injuries or even…. death. Death is something that everyone fears, even animals. They are brave enough to work in these risky conditions just to get a person in the project. When you leave Earth, you are leaving you tower of success you have built on Eearth. Let’s think about something very important. When you leave, you won’t just be leaving earth or the objects on earth. Unless they are coming with you, you are leaving your friend and family. You would miss them and never see them again, EVER. You family and friends would wonder whats going on up there and if you are safe. Everyone would miss their family and friends if they left to never see them again. Wouldn’t
Space has lots of radiation. Exposure to space radiation can have a bad effect on a person’s health. Support C: Travelling and exploring space can actually endanger the life of an astronaut. THIRD POINT:
Would you want to live on Mars? Some would say yes, others no, I am against going to Mars and think that we should stick to Earth and put our time, money, and energy into fixing this planet. I will show you all the reason why we can not go to that red planet.
Earth has served as a good home for humans for many years, and will most likely
Why We Should go to Mars “It was obvious to me that we could never colonize Mars without reusability, any more than America would have been colonized if they had to burn the ships after every trip,”(Dave, 2017). This is what Elon Musk said in an interview in Fortune Magazine on December 9th 2013. The fourth planet in our solar system, Mars, is the closest “Earth-like” planet, Which is why SpaceX, NASA, and many other organizations are trying to make a human trip to Mars possible, as well as learning many things about Mars and Earth at the same time. Mars has a lot of potential to be a habitable planet to continue the human race.
...umans by nature will have to relocate as it has been throughout the entire existence of the species in the planet. The only possibility that humans have for relocation is to move to a neighbor planet. According to experts in the physics and astrophysics department in 2078 Mars, Europa, and Titan will align and it will be the only opportunity in decades to visit these in one mission (Lali). Mars, although not habitable like Earth, is perhaps the safest planet to one day call home. Although its atmosphere is not equal to Earths' it is capable of sustaining life; therefore, it needs to be examined closely by humans, because the knowledge acquired by satellites and robots is limited. The opportunity of relocating is also ideal to allow Earth to heal over a period of time, which is estimated to be a little over a decade, and then perhaps returning home would be possible.
The big question is should we go to Mars, I think that we should not go because it’s eight months to get to Mars each way. You could get so bored and lonely that your mind goes crazy and drives you to death. The short story Danger! This Mission to Mars Could Bore You to Death! says, “...Crew members also struggled with the mental stress of being isolated from society for months on end.”
...egular people, believing that if someone was to go to Mars they might have been able to survive A variety of organic compounds present may mean a life is probable. Also, if the trip to Mars in 2023 turns out to be a positive one, then it will prove to everyone that in the future more and more people will move to this other planet. A lot of people will find it unnecessary to stay on Earth if they can start a new life somewhere else in the galaxy. Even though the trip will have America paying billions and billions of dollars, it truly is worth it. A life on Mars could mean living to an older age and being healthier. The point of going to the Red Planet is to find out if there is a better life somewhere other than on Earth. Just like NASA astronaut, Buzz Aldrin said, humans will most likely reach Mars and when they do humans will turn into a two-planet species.
Although some say exploring Mars will lead to huge discoveries and appeal to curiosity, the risks are still important to understand and notice. People with financial benefits are spending money and resources on space exploration. You could provide about 360 thousand homeless families with a nice, average-sized home, with the money it takes to go to Mars. We still need to consider if the benefits outweigh the costs. Chronic boredom, getting stuck on Mars, and the changes the new environment will have on us, are the risks of exploring Mars and outweigh the costs.
But you and I were born on earth - beneath even the powers "of the air". So we are in trouble. And that is the reason I submit this point about our destination. We can only "go" there if we originate from there.
The destiny of Earth lies in the Space that is beyond the Sky. To quote another favourite poem of mine,
Not only that, but our population has been growing at an extremely alarming rate. At our current rate, our species may not be able to survive for much longer. This is where space exploration comes in. With the recent discovery of water on Mars, and the finding of Kepler-78b, it is possible that mankind can prolong our existence. The possibility of interstellar travel seems to be an option, or even a necessity, if we wish to continue living.
Living in space has been man’s dream for a very long time, we are slowly getting closer every day, company such as NASA now how a huge budget, over 20million (Table 2 Full yearly NASA spending) and are researching new ways to get to space. With advances such as the mars rover which is currently collecting information on mars, and the first man on the moon in a few decades we might be able to send a man to mars.
In America, space travel is a controversial issue that many discuss. Although exciting, some people find it unnecessary and a waste of money. There are also many risks associated with space travel and many issues are more important than space travel that should be focused on. There are ethical, diplomatic, and economic issues that need to be considered before making decisions about space exploration.
So again, why stop now? Jessica Orwig with Business Insider writes, “If Americans do not go to Mars, someone else will. And that spells great benefits for whoever succeeds.” Mars is a cold, mysterious, gold mine of new information waiting to be discovered. And the Space Race made it evident that the competition is deeper than merely exploring space, but also a competition of political and economic leadership.
