Decisions concerning sex have to be made in your teenage years. Alcohol, peer pressure, and hormones can make choosing the right decision difficult. So was the case with Michelle, a fifteen year old that met an attractive boy, George, at a party. They drank beer and talked, and after a little while went up to a bedroom. But as they got there, Michelle realized something: she was not sure if she wanted to have sex with him. Michelle had two choices: either have sex with George, or not have sex with George. Michelle might’ve not been able to see the right choice clearly, but with the right information, she would’ve realized the answer is fairly simple. One of Michelle’s choices would be to not have sex with George. Michelle could choose to not keep quiet, and tell George she doesn’t want to do it. George could understand her and respect her decision. He could also get angry or try to pressure her, but Michelle would just defend her choice and go back to the party. …show more content…

She’d go back to the party and have fun with her friends. Michelle would continue with her normal life, and she wouldn’t have to regret anything. The other choice Michelle could have is having sex with George. If she decided to take that option, she’d have to take other things into consideration. Firstly, if Michelle were smart, she would ask George if he has STDs before doing anything, but she’d also take in mind that he could lie or be unaware that he has them, as is the case with many victims of HIV. Then, assuming George said he has no STDs, Michelle and George could either practice safe sex or not care and go with it without any protection. If they choose to have safe sex, they would have to use some kind of birth control, like
