Student's rights shouldn't be limited in schools. In America there are rights that every citizen has and doesn't have. One of those rights is freedom of speech. In today's society everyone uses this right as a privilege or a right. Why should we stop using the freedom of speech when we go to school? Students should be able to use the freedom of speech in school because everyone has an opinion. Most of these opinions are agree- able and others, not so much. But these opinions should be heard by other students and adults. "How can we expect today’s students to grow up to be tomorrow’s civic leaders if we do not respect these fundamental national values in our schools?" This seems like the schools are treating the students like they have no rights. The students have rights but apparently the schools don't think the students do. And all the people living there didn't have the current rights that we Americans have today. So, why should the students be treated like people back then who didn't have any rights what so ever. Most students have opinions that need to be heard but because the rules are limited these certain students can't have their voices heard. They make talk to their friends about their opinion but what can they do other than agreeing or disagreeing with the student's opinion.
