I think schools should not have uniforms because they can be expansive, start up bullying with other students, and are a burden to families that are not financially stable. In this 800 word essay I will try to explain and persuade students and teachers why having uniforms is a big mistake. By explaining the consequences of expenses and how uniforms are constant reminders, and how they can lead to bad thoughts. One reason that schools should not have uniforms is that they are hard to enforce in public school. Enforcing in public school is something definitely not done easy. This is because parents have to pay many thing for there child to even step foot in a classroom, including math books supply students are supposed to get for every class and the normal fees to pay for other important things before. These prices also may go up because of field trips during the year or after school activities that rise to the students interest. This means that parent are already spending tons of money and they don't want to spend even more just because of uniforms that are unnecessary. …show more content…

When it comes to money some families are living on the brink of have no food or money in their household, so when it comes to paying for school it is already extremely hard for them. Just imagine a family living on 60 to 80 dollars a day in undeveloped countries like bangladesh that already lower the price on school so much, but then having to pay for uniforms. If parents had to do that then they may not be able to eat or pay bills defaulting in serious consequences. These consequences can include not have enough to feed the entire family or not feeding any of your family, or losing your home by not being able to pay for
