The quote simple’s stats the question, how important is perpetration in life? What can kids in today’s world do for mean of preparing for later in life? Those are question that are need to be asked for one to find out what is need to be done. Is preparation really important in today’s world and in normal life? Yes, weather it is to study for a test or go over plays for a sport, preparation is important. Life without preparation would be crazy unless one person comes along and is gifted in wigging it. There a kids in today world that won’t have to work a day in their life but even the most spoiled kids need preparation. Kids use preparation in their everyday life and especially at school. Test are given in school and without preparation the average kid won’t do so well on it. Because the education system does not relate classwork or homework to the lives of students, they do not see how writing essays or solving math problems can help them in everyday life. “By the time Roadville children reach high school they write off school as having nothing to do with what they want in life, and they fear that school success will threaten their social relations with people whose company they value. This is a familiar refrain for working class children” (Attitude 119). As students begin to realize how low their potential is within school, they chose to cut school out of their life and start working. Recent high school graduates are not well prepared to face society as it really is cruel, confusing, and tough. In school students are not taught skills they will need out of the classroom, what they are taught is memorization, and multiple choice test taking in which they can guess their way through or just simply cheat. Having to work up to a deadline, conducting research, and collaborating with peers for group projects are all necessary tasks in the "real world". It is true that success can be achieved without school, but school is only one of the many pathways an individual can choose in order to become educated. School provides students with the ability to strive in the real word by providing them with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed. When asked what I am studying for, I can say that I am studying to become someone who can make a difference. Within the past four years of my high school as “ Willis Bilagody”, have been been such a rollercoaster ride. There were the funny/fun times when the people there made it seem that way, and bumpy times; by that I mean the work and the grades. The struggles of becoming the active and successful person I am to society was because Freshman year of high school, it was always just trying to fit in. Always getting the preaches of being the hard working adult that we had to be, and that nothing is always going to be there handed down. Then came along the money. There had to be a way to have cash to spend, and oh wait, working. Working and doing yard work for people of the neighborhood was first step on becoming self-reliant. But although, I was recognized as having Insomnia, attention-deficit disorder (A.D.D.), and synthesia that didn’t stop me from going to school, or dropping out and being a loser. I just had to keep trucking, that’s when hiking/backpacking came along for me. In relationships, there are many very important qualities that one may look for when searching for a partner. He or she may prefer the individual to be tall and athletic, or maybe very charismatic and down-to-earth. Some may even go for a male or female who keeps them on their feet; who is always adventurous and constantly bringing new things to the relationship. However, that sense of not having any restriction and a devout level of freedom can lead to some very complicated and touchy-subject talks after a while. After a while there may be a sense of abandonment or even discomfort coming from one side of the relationship which may be stemming for the other individual being too inconsistent. Today, there have been countless movies, plays, books and poems written on trust and the basic stability of a relationship. Two of those happen to be The Vow, written by Kim and Krickett Carpenter and Kim Addonizio’s First Poem for You. The theme of permanence is a reoccurring topic in both the movie and Kim’s poem, which I plan to explore individually. By comparing these two separate works, we are able to see through the author’s writing techniques and different styles of writing, how they illustrate this captivating issue of permanence and its significance to the characters in the works and the overall emotions that readers feel for the characters.

Children are perceived as loving and trustworthy, so they easily become the target of sexual offense.
Although homework may seem like drudgery, the hard work that is put into homework may pay off in the long run. In the article, “Does homework really work for students?” Jacqueline Carey, the mother of seventh grade student Micah Carey, stated that “homework gives [students] a good foundation for when they move on further in school” (Johnson). There are many things in life we tend to forget but the biggest one is what we have done and what we will do. The desire and drive to accomplish a goal in life is what keeps us alive. In Steve Jobs’s 2005 Commencement Address at Stanford University he speak out to the young, aspiring adults about the value of life, death, and accomplishing your goals. “Remembering that I'll be dead soon is the most important tool I've ever encountered to help me make the big choices in life” (Steve Jobs, pg 116). This quote is incredibly smart because he says that knowing your life has a time limit gives you the desire to want to go out there and accomplish your dreams.

The opposition believes that while some will find a falsehood of confidence in their “certain” future, others will find pressure instead of confidence, in this lifelong commitment to an uncertain future. While everyone worries about their future at some point in their lifetime, some will find comfort in the knowledge that they have a portion of their life planned out. Devotion to a single profession can change overtime as one grows tired and wants change in his or her life, but a education course can change just as easily. Certain professions are not for everyone and the flexibility of a high school schedule is a benefit many choose to ignore. The additional self-confidence that these students achieve would not only increase their ability to learn and adapt to obstacles placed in their path, but also hasten their growth as individuals in the rapidly evolving world.
Having explained the reason most children have become disheartened at the thought of school, I now turn my attention to the students who do realize school’s educational value. These are the students that will continue to prosper throughout their lives because they realize the extreme importance of education. There is a secret, yet not so secret, motivation behind their determination to exceed standards and expectations in school. The secret they withhold is their overwhelming desire to be successful in the future.
