It is wrong of Justin to bully Michael because it is not only mean but shows bad sportsmanship because it is all out of jealousy and trying to take Michael’s right to play his beloved game of baseball from him. All of these characters who impacts each other's baseball lives all have different moral codes. Ellie and Michael’s moral codes are similar, to not hurt anyone, physically or verbally, but to enjoy and just play baseball, but Michael brakes it when he lashes out on Ellie. He is intimidated and jealous of Michael and he bullies him out of jealousy and tries to get Michael off the team for his own benefit. Even though Michael is frustrated with all the troubles he is facing, it is not the right thing to do when he lashes out on Ellie and it is not right of Justin to act like a bully towards Michael because it is all out of jealousy. Using various rhetoric devices Capote sparked insight into Holcomb just by describing simple landmark buildings and the surroundings of the town. In one page the audience can completely grasp the concepts and emotions of the village.

On the contrary, people were so desperate for information, they were grasping at any leads and ideas they could possibly find. As soon as the citizens of Holcomb found out about the murder, people would go out of their way to gossip about it. “’Since the trouble started, we’ve been doing all the business we can handle,’ Mrs. Hartman said, gazing about her snug domain, every scrap of which was being sat or stood or leaned upon…’It’s time for everyone to stop wagging loose tongues’ Because that’s a crime, too- telling plain-out lies. But what can you expect? Look around you. Rattlesnakes. Varmints. Rumormongers. See anything else? Ha! Like dash you do!’” (Capote, 113) The case of the multiple murder by Hickock and Smith justifies its telling all on its own. Holcomb was a small, religious, and old fashioned town in the middle of Kansas. The elite of the town were all prominent religious people. Everyone knew everyone, no one locked their doors at night- until all of a sudden a well-known and uniformly loved family is violently murdered. Suddenly a neighbor wasn’t a neighbor anymore. The populace conformed to a general atmosphere of distrust and
