I am writing to state my intention of applying for the Master of Biotechnology at the
University of Toronto Mississauga for May 2016 year.
My interest in biology began as a child who could never seem to stop catching amphibians, snakes and bottling snails on my grandfather’s farm. Public speaking was also a trait that I excelled at as an elementary student, placing multiple times in my school, and almost making it to regional competitions on more than a single occasion. It was an easy decision for me to transition into bachelors of biomedical sciences at York University, which I will finish in April of this year, but I always knew I had more to express within myself and do for the world.
I have always had a strong confidence in my abilities not only in the lab but also

The Masters of Biotechnology seemed to be a perfect fit for melding together my passion for regenerative medicine and my ability to use my highly tuned transferable skills. The ability to make new and lasting business connections, communicate my thoughts, and push a team to success would go to perfect use in the business component of your Masters program. As Vice President of a growing and thriving 60 man fraternity on campus I have been able to apply and further refine my natural leadership abilities in large and small executive groups to work efficiently as a team while promoting our four pillars; fellowship, leadership, scholarship and service. These skills were expressed daily during my Vice Presidency in Kappa Sigma, of which by February this year will have reached the arduous two year task of becoming an official chartered chapter of the largest fraternity in North

Biotechnology is one of the leading industries in the world. It has vastly improved medicine and created ways to improve the environment. It has laid out a foundation in terms of ethical practices. We will be discussing its sub factors and its most important factor which tells us where the biotechnology industry is progressing more. The potential sources of funding for the creation of biotechnology industries. We will also be considering how biotechnology firms collaborate with external partners for innovation as well as how they choose their partners in terms of innovation. It tells us where we are supposed to look when it comes to alliances. These four questions can explain how the Biotechnology Industry works, how the Biotechnological Industry
I’m a student at Tompkins Cortland Community College this is my first semester as a college student. I plan to go to college for four years and only be at TC3 for this one semester, then transfer to a four year school. College has grown around the world more than ever and more people are attending college more than ever. I have chosen to go to college because of the rewards after graduation. Yes it is another four years of school but by getting more education and an extended degree gives me more opportunities for better jobs and more money. The career I have chosen to study is business administration. I am hoping that it takes me to a great job managing a company or possibly being an accountant.
I am Fasiha Abdul Rehman, holding a professional degree of Doctor of Pharmacy at 23 years of age; with a deeper interest in contributing to the understanding of diabetes and cardiovascular diseases and unveiling new information for medical advancement and betterment of mankind and I envisage Masters as crucial step in this direction.
My intense passion for learning has shifted my life in a new and positive direction. I feel that my personal experiences and challenges have served as a basis for growth and preparation for a life of helping others. This is why I have worked so hard to complete my undergraduate education despite my many responsibilities. I believe that this makes me a great candidate for this program. I am a diligent and attentive person who deeply cares for others in need. I feel that everything that has brought me to where I am today has shaped my life and will make me a great social worker. I want to thank you very much for considering my application for the master of social work program.
Many reasons convinced me to pursue a graduate level degree in social work. First the standard of education has greatly increased in the field of social work, especially regarding social work in the healthcare field. The majority of jobs in healthcare require a graduate degree, especially in my town of Kamloops, British Columbia. I hope to do case management in healthcare and most of my colleagues stated I most likely wouldn’t be a candidate for this position if I do not have a graduate level education. Furthermore, I have invested my time in a career I hope to continue for the rest of my life and this being said I want to have options and flexibility of opportunities in the field of social work. Considering social services offers such a vast array of services, it’s in my best interest to allow myself the most exposure to opportunity and earning a graduate level degree will allow this to occur.

Looking back on my school days, the most memorable moments were those in my science classes. Even before that, as a 6-year old, I wanted to become a midwife and a paediatrician and my young age did not stop me from diving into the complicated studies of human fertilization and paediatrics. My passion for learning now keeps taking me even further into the complex structures, processes and reactions that link our every organ, tissue and cell of our body together, to form this miraculous creation called the human body. Studying science at A-level has both provided the foundation for further scientific study and a challenge to delve deeper into intriguing topics. The opportunity to further study the complexity of the human physiology together with the effects, necessity and danger of microorganisms at a higher level excites me.
I would like to apply to the graduate certificate program in bioinformatics in the University of South Florida as I have an immense passion for biotechnology research and application of information technology in improving health care. My interest in bioinformatics stems from an early exposure to computer programming during high school when I spent time with a family friend who worked as a software programmer. He introduced me to the concept and scope of computer programming which really piqued my interest and I developed a passion for this area. However, at that time in my home country, there was the notion that every intelligent child should be a doctor, and with parental influence I was encouraged to study medicine which I also very much loved. However, the passion for information technology persisted although the work load of medical school made it difficult to impossible to pursue this passion.
When I was 8 year old I scored 100 out of 100 marks in Mathematics and when my class teacher announced the results whole class stood and clapped, I can never forget that overwhelming moment in my life, I was so happy and contended, and that day I understood the importance of education in life. My parents couldn’t study after high school due to financial restrictions but they always taught me importance of higher education to imagine and pursue goals. My family has been extremely supportive throughout the journey and has constantly motivated me to realize my potential to the fullest extent by providing conducive environment for studying and encouraging me in my endeavors. Throughout my high school, I enjoyed two things: Mathematics and Extra-curricular activities, these activities helped me to gain team skills, stress management skills and social relationship skills. Biotechnology is a group of technologies that work together with living cells and their molecules to prolong life (Keener and Hoban et al., 2014). Today biotechnology can be used in a variety of ways such as in an industrial setting where they use it to create enzymes to synthesize chemicals, in an environmental setting where they use it for waste and pollution prevention and lastly it can be used in medical applications such as in pharmaceuticals, genetic engineering, DNA fingerprinting and in lastly it can be used in stem cell therapy (Keener and Hoban et al., 2014). Everyone in today’s society depends and uses biotechnology in one form or another, biotechnology is essential for our health and wellbeing.
