From an early age, I knew where my passion was. My earliest memory of my grandfather is of him reading the Hercules Poirot mysteries to me. I was fascinated with the intricate details of, not only the cases but the science involved in making them. It leads me to read medical books and try to find solutions to the different mysteries which were presented in crime films. I have always known that I wanted to study forensic science at the university level to be able to solve crimes, profiling DNA and analyzing drugs or toxins and my choices in subjects to study at school have always been science-based.
With a clear goal in my mind and recognition of the challenges that the university education presents, I joined the class with an extended curriculum of Biology and Chemistry to strengthen my academic abilities. These subjects

I don't like leaving matters unfinished. Taking, for example, my love for books. Once I start reading I cannot get away till I got to the bottom of a problem. I constantly develop my language skills by reading an enormous number of stories and watching films in English. I consider myself as a patient, determined and hard-working young woman. I tutor small kids in English and older students in Chemistry. Each one of them needs appropriate ways to learn. It was one of the biggest challenges in my life to find techniques to motivate them to study and ways to communicate with them. I had to use all my problem-solving skills and patience to accomplish that. I am really proud when I see how much progress they made. Even though I don't always have enough time for this, I'm always trying to find a way to reconcile studying with teaching. I carefully organize my time, so there will be enough time to do everything. These lessons helped me develop my interpersonal skills and learned me how to be determined when achieving my
I have always been interested in the criminal justice field, I was always watching the ID channel on tv and I became very interested in the way they solve these crimes and the crimes that actually occur. When I first started talking to my parents about wanting to go into the criminal justice field I had only wanted to become a detective.
My experiences with tutoring others has taught me that it satisfies me to help others understand and learn. As you teach others you learn about the different ways you handle situations and solve issues as well. I’ve always been the person that my classmates come up to for help, but it wasn’t till grade 10 until I officially started tutoring math, mainly Pre-Calculus 12. In grade 11, I continued tutoring, but this time I focused on a single individual, and that brought up challenges of creating a suitable relationship, that becomes the foundation for effective learning. This year, I took on a challenge, my teacher asked me to be a mentor towards a student with learning disabilities who was struggling with school. I
Achieving academic excellence while obtaining my Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice is the first step towards becoming financially able to support my son by working as a law enforcement analyst. While working on my degree, I am determined to maintain my 4.0 GPA, a challenge that demonstrates my ability to learn and overcome obstacles, as well as. This commitment to maintaining my GPA requires me to work on having a positive attitude, as well as learn about discipline, self-management, and hard work, all which are beneficial to me in my field of work. I chose criminal justice because it requires thinking about and analyzing facts to solve crimes while helping and protecting people, something I have always felt strongly about. Since I was
Why did I choose the career forensic pathology? I chose this career because I have always been a curious person, and the thought of being the one who figures out a mysterious death and giving their family closure is very exciting to me. It is a great feeling knowing you have made a difference in someone’s life, from gun wounds to suicide I feel that the family deserves to know. I knew that I wanted to solve these kinds of mysteries when uncle died and no one knew how he died, or at least they didn’t want to tell us. I later found out that the scientifically correct term for someone who investigates deaths like his is forensic pathology.
As a child, I have always had an obsession for watching action movies with my father. We always had that bond with one another, action movies were typically the only movies we would watch. The longer I would watch the movies the more thoughts came across my head. Since then I always wondered if I should focus my career in Law Enforcement. I would always say “Mom, Dad, I am going to be a Policeman.” The more I continued to watch these movies the more I would convince myself to become a Policeman. At one point in time I realized that the crime scenes would catch my attention way more than Policeman. Then I realized that my obsession was not based on Law Enforcement it was based on Forensic Science. A thought occurred to me, what would it be
Since high school, science has always been a subject of interest to me. Everything in the universe occurs for a reason and I believe science explains all these reasons. Besides this, science is all about the facts and this is why science has never fails to fascinate me. And nursing is more about science, which is why I have developed profound interest in this subject. I love the human biology, human physiology to be precise. I have always been intensely inquisitive in learning about the organs of the human body and have always wondered how they
In middle school, I felt limited by the lack of opportunity in my community, but I made due with what I had. I took it upon myself to volunteer my extra time to tutor other students who didn’t understand the material as well. Tutoring benefitted me as well, for
As far back as I can remember I had a strong affinity for science. I recall having an avid curiosity in biology and chemistry while I attended catholic school. Our congregation placed an emphasis on missionary work and social service, and growing up I felt very connected to that experience. Medicine as a profession was something I was exposed to early on as many of my family members are physicians. I became even more interested in medicine when as a teenager my dad became critically ill and I wanted desperately to know what was happening and what needed to be done to get him better.
Introduction I. A career that I have always been interested in is forensic anthropology. Well, you can’t consider it always it actually all started with a TV show that my parents watch way too much, Bones. Bones is about a forensic anthropologist who helps the Jeffersonian solve murder cases. She is the best forensic anthropologist in the world and as she solves all of these cases she displays her ability to learn to adapt and solve riddles at a ridiculous rate. This gave me an unrealistic fantasy about how amazing and fast paced the job is so, I chose this topic to bring that fantasy into something more realistic and maybe if I work hard enough I can make it a reality. So to make it more realistic I will outline my path to get there following three main points the career information, the schooling requirements and my future lifestyle. This might just make me one step closer to changing this fantasy into reality.

In my chemistry class we did a forensics unit where we figured out a killer from evidence. Ever since then I was hooked on forensic science. My senior year I took a class of forensic science and that is what set in stone what I decided I wanted to be when I got out of high school. Through the class I fell in love with all of the new things I learned, as well I found what I really wanted to do with my life. I have always watched crime shows with my mother, And finding out all of the ways that criminals can be caught is invigorating. I enjoy learning new things all the time and using that knowledge. When I started my senior year I really like forensic science, and I concluded that if I liked the class that I took my senior year that I would decide if I wanted to Major in criminal justice. So from here on out I have decided that solving crimes is what I want to do with my life. The fact that I love what I am doing will help me do my job better, as well as help other people. Currently I am teaching adults in a business environment, though it has not always been like this. I have had the fortune to teach people of all ages within different conditions and circumstances. Near the end of my junior year, I should have felt satisfied knowing that another year of school was under my belt. I had been dreading it the summer before, knowing that I would have to deal with a massive course load along with my increased extracurricular responsibilities. After the year finished, however, I instead felt empty. I wanted to unearth more knowledge about chemistry and all its intricacies; but more than anything, I just wanted to learn
During my time as a student I have been able to develop the way I learn and interact with others to a degree that has also helped me to mature into a better person. I have come to believe that this maturity will help me to develop into a better thinker as well, one that has the patience to listen and take consideration of what others have to say. I consider the act of learning a two way avenue that has to be taken seriously. It is one that involves the teacher, and the protégé. It has been, and will continue to be, my absolute goal as a student to become a diligent protégé and acquire all of learning my teachers have set in front of me. The way each of them have helped me to think about how my actions, and the way I choose to study my lessons and develop as a student, has made a tremendous impact on my life. This impact is one that I will carry into the future as I myself advance in my professional studies.
