In my life, I've learned that the only way to get what you want in this world is through hard work. I'm a very hard worker and I take initiative as soon as I get the opportunity. I work well independently and cooperatively on a team. Im very helpful and caring to others. I consider myself more mature than most of my classmates. I'm a member of my school's national honor society. I take pride in my studies and do the very best I can. My greatest strength is being able to adapt to changes with a world that changes everyday with new technologies and more research being conducted. I have always tried to be fair with those around me and loyal to my friends and family. Everyone I know can rely on me to take care of responsibilities and I keep the promises that I …show more content…
I love the feeling I get when I make a difference in someone's life. I know I have all the characteristics it takes to be a Nurse. Im caring, patient, calm and compassionate. Respect is a very important character trait because it gives others a memorable impression on you. If I get to be a Nurse than I get to use all my character traits and my talent in science everyday in my career. I'm one of those people who don't care how much money i'll make when choosing a career. I want a career that doesn't feel like a job that I have to do. I want to be happy to go to work everyday and go home happy as well feeling like I made a difference. Doctors make the diagnosis of patients and decide how they should be treated. I feel that a Nurse does the real healing of a patient and spend more time with them. Being responsible for treating people and healing them sounds like the best job in the world. Im also very relaxed and can keep others calm. I take everything seriously even drills and i'm always on time. I want to serve others and take care of them. I want to work either in a hospital or be a military nurse so that I have access to more patients that are
Nurse practitioners would be a good career choice for me because they are paid well, are in high demand, do many interesting things, and they can work in multiple different settings. Nurse practitioners can do more than regular nurses, but they aren't quite advanced enough to be titled as a doctor. An overview of their job is to provide care to patients throughout their life, from babies to when they are elders. Their job consists of several different tasks so it would never be the same thing everyday.
When I am older I would love to be a Nurse Practitioner, I enjoy helping people when they are sick and taking care of them. Another reason I want to be a Nurse Practitioner is because my sister is also a Nurse Practitioner.
Why do people go into the medical field and become a registered nurse (RN)? Some of the main reasons why people become RNs is because of the salary, but majority of the people, like me, want to become a nurse because they want to help and serve their patients. Nursing is one of the few occupations where one is rewarded emotionally and monetarily.
I want to be a nurse, specifically a nurse practitioner. I have always been fascinated with the medical field and see a bright future in it for me. I have the opportunity of meeting new people every day with a variety of personalities. There is always something new to discover in this field. A nurse practitioner's job is to be able to diagnose and treat illnesses. They also prescribe medicine and run physical exams. I am highly interested in pursuing the career of a nurse practitioner because the healthcare field is always in need for medical professionals, it pays well, and I am helping people at the same time.
Both my current job and are dream jobs are in the medical field they are very similar yet different. For example, my job now is a certified nursing assistant and my dream job is to become a registered nurse. Both jobs consist of taking guardianship of people providing hands-on work, comfort care, and compassion. My dream is to further my career from a nurse assistant and become a nurse that does more for people in the world.
Becoming a Professional Nurse remains a mystery up until this day. Consequently, the answer is still unknown. Furthermore, to figure out the answer why I became a professional nurse starting from the beginning is best. Hopefully, an answer will be provided by the completion of this paper.
I want to be a nurse practitioner. I would like to be a nurse practitioner because, I could help people and I. I think when I am will still want to be a nurse. I want to go to college when I am older. I want people to smile because I helped them or their member in some way.
All my life I have always wanted to be a nurse. Since I was younger I can recall playing with stethocopes. I have four siblings so my parents paying for my education has never been an option for me. That having said I became a Medical Assistant. Becoming a medical assistant has been a great blessing in my life. I have been able to work with patients, while going to school but I am ready to further my education. I want to be able to provide patients with medications, IV's, and many other skills that will put my full knowledge to use. I think that nursing is a great profession because it is a job that is in demand. Nurses can work anywhere ranging from clinics, hospitals, schools, and even jails. This means a lot because if anything occurs
I believe that Nursing is a profession that is unique to the individual. My reasons for choosing such a profession is due to the fact that I have a desire to help others. Growing up with a very sick parent of whom I traveled back and forth over the years to many physician offices, lead me to develop my career path at an early age which was nursing. I watched the many doctors and nurses providing care to my mom in such a compassionate way, and as a result of the kindness they showed my sibling and me, I was very much aware this was as some may say, “my calling”. I had a conversation with my mom and told her that one day I was going to be a nurse so that I could care for her in the same manner that I saw the nurses and physicians caring for her. I wanted to
It’s been my desire, longing for a nursing career since I was in my primary and secondary school. At the age of 12, I began to look after children and baby-sitting then, from there, I gained the understanding of how to deal with children. Nursing is one of the highly demanding careers that bring new challenges every day and it comes with various rewards and a real sense of job satisfaction. I chose nursing because it is a profession where you never really finish learning. It has been my dream job since my tender age. Seeing nurses visiting my school treating students, immunisation, teaching us about health and sexual health issues, this encouraged me. My goal and desire at that age have been to help people within the Health sector. That is how; I decided to go to college where I am currently doing my Access to Higher Education Diploma (Science), which involves Biology and Chemistry. I chose this pathway because I want to gain the relevant skills and knowledge of my career to be. As someone who wants to become a nurse, I found biology as an important role in the delivery of client car...
In my post secondary studies, many people are interested in what I want to do after I graduate and where I want to go in life. It is far rarer to have people ask the question of why. Why do I want to pursue a career in the medical field? Why do I want to spend my life helping people? Why do I want to attend the nursing program at Clarkson? My answer to the big question of why is not a simple one-faceted answer. I want to be a nurse for a myriad of reasons. In this reflection, I will touch on my long-lasting love for a career in medicine, my experience in school that solidified my desire to become a nurse, and the path that led me to apply to Clarkson College.
Always make the best out of anything life throws at you. I am a very hard working, outgoing, and determined person. In my opinion the things we do and the people we surround ourselves with in life determines who we are as a person, the saying goes birds of a feather flock together. The activities I am involved in reflect who i am as a person.
In this diploma paper will be discussed and analyzed the principal themes in 1984 by George Orwell. This is a dystopian novel written in 1949 by Eric Blair, famous as George Orwell. The author tries to give a powerful message with his writing, that is the reason why I chose this novel for my diploma thesis. The idea and themes of the novel impressed me the most.
The career i chose is a branch of the medical field. I chose a career in nursing, more specifically the career path of a registered nurse. This career consists of providing care for people of all ages and helping them with managing their conditions. I chose this career because my mother is an rn and my family has a strong presence in the medical field. It is important to understand the education or training requirements, skills, or talents needed, salary, benefits offered, and the duties for a particular career when making this decision.
My dream career would be: Becoming a nurse. Nurses help people in many different ways. They work at a fast, but focused pace; work side by side with Doctors and surgeons. Nursing has been a dream of mine for many years. There are many different kinds of nurses. The nurse I would strictly want to become is a nurse specialized in geriatrics, taking care of people with dementia. To work in this field you have to have an understanding of what is all involved. To be able to understand all aspects of the different kinds
