We all make mistakes, even the greatest make mistakes. For example, most people know of Thomas Edison. He was the great inventor of the light bulb. Creating the light bulb took many tries. Within the five months of work and over nine thousand experiments, he still was not able to make a working light bulb, but he never gave up. One of Edison?s colleagues pointed out how much he was failing and Edison replied with, ? Results! Why, man, I have gotten a lot of results! I know several thousand things that don?t work.? Today many people use this as an example to keep trying no matter what and to never give up and make new ways to fix your mistakes. Teachers urge students to take risks and make those mistakes and learn from them and accept it. Just because you fail at something once does not mean that you have completely failed. Thomas Edison has proved to us that as long as we keep trying we can solve that problem or whatever we are trying to do. …show more content…

They say well i tried this and that and it did nothing, and then they give up. Not Thomas Edison. Edison created the light bulb with months of work and thousands of experiments, but he never gave up. By making mistakes it causes up to question what we did wrong and it makes us look and learn to see what we can do to fix it. ?Making mistakes can spark learning and creativity at any age and in any field?? it states in passage one under ?Creativity is Full of Mistakes?. Margaret Heffernan says, ? Messiness, making mistakes: There?s fantastically rich ground here for creativity and exploration.?
