Also they have “glider” in their name because they can glide up to an entire football field in length. Sugar gliders are very unique due to their habitat, appearance, and life The habitat of a sugar glider is quite unique. Sugar gliders live in the treetops of forest. They like the forest more than anything because of all the trees for them to get sap and glide back and forth on.These forest are located in Australia, Tasmania, Indonesia, and some forest near the equator. These forests have more than 200 different types of trees, all for the little sugar glider to glide back and forth on. It may get hot! It can get up to 93 degrees Fahrenheit near the top of the trees. Also it would be scary if there was a monsoon or typhoon. If there was one, the sugar glider would hide with a small group in a hole in a tree, lined with leaves. When the sugar glider gets hungry, it will glide down to the canopy. While at the canopy the sugar glider looks for seeds that have fallen off tree. Living in this type of environment, the sugar glider has a unique appearance. Sugar gliders are omnivores, which means they eat plants and animals. They mainly eat fruits and plants, but they eat meat, eggs, insects, rodents, and dairy, for protein. Their diet contains about 24% of protein, but they don't eat for nutrition, they eat for enjoyment and simulation. This animal eats around the morning and night or when ever. The sugar glider likes a lot of food, but it also shouldn't eat some certain things. The sugar glider shouldn't eat eggplant, mistletoe berries, poison ivy/poison oak sap, and blue-green algae. Now that we just got done talking about feeding habitats, let's talk about something
Tree itself is already a very commonly used symbol in many places, it symbolize sheltering, evocative of enternity, rooted in earth and reaching up to the sky and many more. Tree Imagery in Hurston’s Novels, Their Eyes Were Watching God and Seraph on the Suwanee. Hurston uses the fruit tree as an important image in both of the texts: the blossoming pear tree for Janie and the budding mulberry tree for Arvay. Each holds a unique meaning to its counterpart. In looking at Janie’s interaction with her tree, I chose to focus on the passage on page 11, beginning with “She was stretched on her back beneath the pear tree.”.
The sugar maple needs a cool, moist climate in which to grow, and my client¡¯s stand in southern Michigan is well within its natural range. The Lake States in general have the following habitat characteristics optimal for the sugar maple (5):
Myotis lucifugus are easily identified when they're being handled, but are hard to tell apart from other species when in flight. Their fur is glossy with a variety of colors ranging from tan to red or dark brown. Their stomachs are a lighter color, with their wings and leg being almost black. Their wings, ears and face have little or no fur on them. Little brown bats have a wingspan that can reach 11in, weigh anywhere from 5 to 14g and have a body length between 2.5 to 4in. Females are usually bigger than males, allowing them to easily carry their pups. Their distinct wings, which set them apart from every other mammal and birds are a thin extension of skin that is supported by bones that have evolved from regular forelimbs. (Myers, P. "Bat Wings and Tails." 2014). They fly at an average of 12 miles/hour but can reach up to 22 miles/hour. Their fore and hind limbs have five medapodial. Although those characteristics might seem similar to many other bats, theres a big difference in their skull. Little Brown Bats lacks a saggital crest, which is where the jaw muscles would be attached. They have 38...
These trees provide the koala with food, shelter and places for social contact which will support it for the term of its natural life (assuming there is no habitat clearing). Within a socially stable group, the home ranges of individual koalas overlap with those of their neighbours. It is in the shared, overlapping trees that the majority of social interaction takes place. These are very important trees.
Cane toads originated from South America, were introduced to Australia in the early 20th century and have been in Australia for nearly 70 years. Plants almost completely blanket the landscape of the Park. Generally, there are two kinds of trees, deciduous, which are typically found in western side of the park, and coniferous, which are more common in the eastern part of the park. There are some examples of deciduous trees, Maple, Beech, Oak, and Birch. In Algonquin, there is a highway with many maples on both sides, if visitors look around, when they are driving on that road in autumn; the color of both sides of the highway
One of the leading factors in the growth of the sugar trade was the ideal land in the Caribbean for the growth of cane sugar. After the discovery of the Caribbean in 1492 by the Portuguese, colonies began to pop up in every island. Countries such as France, Spain, and Britain controlled major islands such as Jamaica, Cuba, Saint-Domingue, and Puerto Rico in 1750 (Doc. 1). These countries also colonized surrounding islands. The more intriguing fact is the climate data in Document 2. The ideal latitude range for cane sugar production is between 37˚ N to 30˚ S. Looking on the map on Document 1 and on the second chart in Document 2 confirms that the islands in the Caribbean are in this range. Other factors such as rainfall, soil type, and temperature

Cane Toads are also hard to catch and kill. Cane Toads are a little bigger than a tea cup and they live in Australia’s forests making it even harder to notice them. Cane Toads are also amphibians, so they can stay underwater or on land...

When thinking back to birthdays, there is always the memory of the wonderful cake that mother beautifully made and decorated with frosting and glazes. The end of a fantastic Thanksgiving dinner turns heavenly when a hot apple pie is brought to the table and topped with delicious, melting vanilla ice cream. A good wedding is never complete without the cutting of the splendid multi-level wedding cake, when the happy new couple gets to playfully shove and smear cake and white frosting into each other’s smiling faces. Everyone knows that as a child, the only good part about going to the dentist is getting the candy bar at the end of the visit. Why do some people get sick after eating too much suger? The green leaves are mixed in with the flowers. The shades of the green leaves range from light yellowish green to dark bluish green. Most of them are shaped like tiny bananas and others are wider, like pears or apples. The crashing water near by drowns out the scent of the leaves’ chlorophyll. Some of the leaves are almost as smooth as the flowers, but some are rough, similar to a rug. The leaves are grouped together like many little trees. The trees and leaves cover the soil and the bottom part of the tree—like a drooping green gown.
