I agree with Kevin Kniffin, competitive sports should be allowed in school. Sports are honestly a big part of coming to school, other than learning of course. Learning is a big part of coming to school as well but sports gives us something to look forward to after school. Sports actually make school fun. It makes all the kids excited and makes them want to interact with school and get involved with school activities.
I feel that sports actually make kids want to do better in school and get good grades. I also think it helps improve attitudes. To be able to play a sport at school you’d have to have good grades, you’re not allowed to have an F. It makes kids want to get good grades so they can play in their game. Sports help you realize that if you have a bad attitude, you won’t get anywhere. It also teaches you how to work with others. You won’t win a game if you’re not working with your teammates. Communication is another big thing that competitive sports can help you with, it’s a big thing in sports to be able to communicate.
School sports can help you in a lot of different ways. More ways than you would think actually. It gives you life lessons and memories that you’ll never forget. You’ll remember all the little things that you did with your teammates and your coach. I’ll never forget any of my coaches from softball, soccer, and cheer. And I’ll always remember every single one of my teammates that made a huge impact on my life. Sports have taught me so many things and made me realize that no matter how hard things get, you just have to keep going and never give up.
I will admit that sports do cost a lot of money and our school does spend a lot of money on sports but school teams can raise money for everything they need. That’s what our school has us do whenever we need something. Sports are a lot of work and a lot of money but it’s worth it. It’s worth all the memories and all the things you
