In Romeo & Juliet I believe that it was their decisions that led them to their deaths. I believe this because they could have definitely worked their way around their deaths, and the decisions that they have made lead to their deaths. And in the prologue it says how Romeo and Juliet are “Star crossed lovers”. This means that they can never be together and there love is not really meant to be. One example of this is Friar Lawrence of Juliet. He should have told Juliet's father, Lord Capulet, since he (Lord Capulet) does not have a problem with Romeo and thinks Romeo is, “A virtuous and well-governed youth.” So that shows that Lord Capulet wouldn't have been super mad if Juliet confused their love for one another with Lord Capulet. There love wasn't meant to be since Romeo is a Monucue and Juliets a Capulet, so they were supposed to be together in the first place. In general i feel that if they told Lord Capulet (Juliets father) then Romeo and Juliet wouldnt have to die since Lord Capulet thinks Romeo is, “ A virtuous and well-governed youth.” And this shows that Lord Capulet doesnt hate Romeo and actually thinks he’s a good day. So i feel that when they first got married that if Frair Lawrence told Lord Capulet that Romeo and Juliet got married then he (Lord Capulet) would have been ok with there marriage, and that would have saved them from there
