Not many people have never hear the story of Romeo and Juliet but in the story, who is to blame? Romeo and Juliet is a love story that ends up with the tragic death of these two lovers. The thing I would most blame for this would be fate, i chose this because there were so many events that weren’t planned or went wrong for this and all those things happened at the worst time. Throughout this story, characters kept making plans but those plans always seem to fall through. A very important part of Friar Lawrence plan was for Friar John to deliver Romeo a letter, but that didn't happen. The letter was to tell Romeo of the plan that Juliet would be locked in the tomb. This led to Romeo thinking Juliet was dead, which eventually led to Romeo killing
himself. This happened through most of the play and you can’t blame any one character for this mishappens because there were multiple characters involved in this. The only thing you can blame is fate and the unfortunate events that transpired. To continue off that, timing is another big reason the story ended the way it did. The way certain events happened at the time they did was the worst possible time and created huge problems. A big example of this is when Romeo got to the tomb, Romeo went to the Juliet’s grave to kill himself next to her. However little did Romeo know Juliet’s hours were almost up and about to wake up, but Romeo had no idea and killed himself before she woke up. When she woke up she saw Romeo and then killed herself because of it. There is no one to blame again the only thing you can blame is the terrible timing that occured. Throughout this story characters kept making good plans but fate interfered, this is how real life is. People try and change what is happening or make plans to curve around it but fate happens and does what it does. In today’s society people get so caught up and worried about how to fix what’s happening like Romeo and Juliet but sometimes it is best to let it go.
The attempt that Friar Lawrence had made to fix up his wrong doings was a mistake and took a huge role in leading up to the two deaths. He had a second chance to come clean and tell the families the truth, but he chose to ignore that opportunity and came up with a plan that resulted in the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. After Romeo had been banished, the plan that the Friar conjured up was for Juliet to take a potion which would make her appear dead.
