What is most responsible for the two lovely lover-Romeo and Juliet’s death? In my opinion, there is no one particular person to really blame on their death. However, it is every single person are should be blamed for the deaths of both Romeo and Juliet. If I was answering the question of who were the few most responsible people for their tragedy-it would be three people. Because of people’s decision and different point of view, the people most responsible for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet are Lady Capulet, Nurse, and Friar Lawrence.
First of all, in my opinion the Lady Capulet wasn’t a successful mom at all. A major thing about her was that she had a different view of love. She believed that the tradition of arranged marriage was correct, as in that marriage should be arrange by parents. After Romeo climbed out of the window, Lady Capulet came in and responds, "Talk not to me, for I'll not say a word / Do as thou wilt, for I have done with thee" (3.5.15). The words that the Lady Capulet said were just horribly good, it really expressed how she is such an irresponsible mother. Because she said“ ...for I have done with thee…” which mean she is done with this situation, she quit the argument, and leave Juliet alone. As usual Juliet immediately refused her mother. She showed she only love Romeo and no one else. It can be a minor reason why she committed suicide because she got pressure from her family, while she truly loved Romeo. Did Lady Capulet really been more of a mother? When you are a mother, you have a responsibility to your children. As a result, Lady Capulet doesn't come across as a particularly great mom.
The Nurse, actually turned against Juliet at a very important time. I am not saying that the nurse was bad, but she d...

Who is most responsible for the death of the lovers? In this book-Romeo and Juliet, every single person in the play is to blame for Romeo and Juliet's deaths. Even Romeo and Juliet themselves. No one knows what would happen in the future, but it is your responsibility for every action you take, and remember the consequence of it. “Romeo and Juliet” teaches us that don’t make rash decision and take everything slowly. If Romeo and Juliet did take things slowly, what would happen? Would it be happily ever after? Anyway William Shakespeare didn’t share that idea with us, however you can use your own imagination to create a great ending.
(IV, I, Lines 90-119). This bad advice, to give a girl a drink like death and tell her to run away, is only one of many immature actions Friar takes. Finally, Friar did not stay with Juliet after she frantically woke up, in a tomb, next to another diseased husband who was supposed to run away with her to Mantua. Instead he left saying, "Thy husband in thy bosom lies dead.... ...
Who is Most Responsible for the Deaths of Romeo and Juliet? Romantic love stories often end with a tragedy, because of the loss of passion or a loved one. These tragedies are often the result of one person’s actions that ended someone’s life or love. In the Romeo and Juliet play written by William Shakespeare, two citizens of Verona come together and fall deeply in love.
Lady Capulet is very materialistic and she wants Juliet to gain wealth and status by marrying Paris ‘’Share all that he doth possess’’. In addition, because she got married at a young age, therefore she thinks it’s right for Juliet to be married at a young age ‘’I was likely your mother at just about your age’’. Moreover, she constantly urges Juliet to marry Paris without any sense of consideration for Juliet’s opinions or feelings, about the alliance of the marriage. Furthermore, this illustrates her cold attitude towards love and marriage as she only talks about Paris Social position and wealth.
While reading Shakespeare's play “Romeo and Juliet” it is easy to see that everybody in the story is at fault for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. Personally however, I believe that three of the main characters are more at fault then the other characters. First is Mercutio, Romeo’s best friend. Next is Benvolio, nephew of Lord Montague and Romeo’s other friend. Last is Friar Lawrence, Romeo and Juliet Franciscan Priest. In a story of unorthodox love, family feuding, and violence, many are at blame for the deaths.
Who is the most to blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet? There are many opinions on who is to blame for the deaths of these "star crossed lovers." One of these opinions is that both Romeo and Juliet are equally to blame for their own deaths. Romeo nor Juliet knew how to resolve their own problems and went directly to Friar Lawrence. Whenever Romeo and Juliet failed to resolve their problem, their resolution was suicide. Romeo and Juliet also withheld the love affair between them, from their families.
Throughout time, there have been many tragedies cause by romance. For example, the play Romeo and Juliet, by William Shakespeare, is known for its romantic tragedy between two star-crossed lovers. With all the deaths, who is truly to blame for Romeo and Juliet's deaths? Friar Laurence is most to blame for many obvious, yet overlooked reasons.
In the story “ The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet “ the main characters get themselves in a pickle by falling in love knowing that their families are sworn enemies. Soon Romeo kills Juliet's cousin by accident, Juliet drinks a potion, some words get twisted and at the end both of the lovebirds end up dead. At the end of the story both families are devastated that both of their children pass away, but there are also many unanswered questions. The most asked question in the story is “ Who's to blame? ” and overall I believe everyone has a little part in influencing their death, but I believe that one person is to blame for most of this and I believe that it is the mother and father of Juliet.
Secondly, the imbecile wet nurse of Juliet plays an unsupportive parental role during Juliet’s misery of losing Romeo in ba...
Responsibility for Romeo and Juliet's Deaths There is much controversy to who is to blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet, a number of things and people could be held responsible for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. But who is responsible for their deaths? Even before the play begins the grudge between the Capulet and Montague families has begun. Because of this, it becomes imminent that one thing or event will start off a sequence of incidents that will end in tragedy. The on-going feud between the Montague and Capulet families could be held responsible for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet, because if their was no feud between these families then Romeo and Juliet would have been able to have a safe normal relationship in which their family would have agreed to.
WHO IS THE BLAME? Good afternoon, my fellow audience. I am here today to persuade you on who I believe to be the character most responsible for the death of the two main characters in the play, Romeo and Juliet, a tragedy written by William Shakespeare. It is almost an ironic play because of its open and easily known ending, but yet its ending raises the controversial question, WHO IS TO BLAME FOR THE DEATH OF ROMEO AND JULIET? I believe every character in the book contributed to their deaths, even Romeo and Juliet themselves, but Friar Lawrence bears a monumental deal of the blame because he was the principle and most reliable adult that could have steered the ‘inexperienced’ couple, but his incompetency led Romeo and Juliet to a violent death.
He did not give much thought on how Juliet feels about the marriage and agrees to marry the two even though Juliet had not given him consent. For example, when Paris asks Capulet if Juliet would love him; Capulet responds, "Of my child 's love: I think she will be ruled. In all respects by me; nay, more, I doubt it not." (4.3.13-14). Capulet’s relationship with Juliet is superficial; he does not understand or know his daughter well. By creating the wedding, he causes Juliet to become desperate as she would be marrying someone she doesn’t love. To add to the matter, instead of trying to understand his daughter’s perspective, he becomes aggressive and gives her with an ultimatum. Capulet shouts, “Disobedient wretch! I tell thee what: get thee to church o 'Thursday, Or never after look me in the face.” (3.5.160-163). By forcing Juliet into marriage, she becomes desperate and causes her to begin considering death as a way out. "I 'll to the friar, to know his remedy; If all else fail, myself have power to die." (3.5.241-242). Capulet’s controlling and aggressive parenting forces Juliet to marry someone she does not love. Furthermore, this causes Juliet to starts considering suicide as a way out. Capulet’s actions to forcefully marry Juliet to Paris brings her death because it results in the Friar’s potion plan which would cause the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. If Capulet did not
Lady Capulet tried to understand Juliet more than Lord Capulet and she tried to help her, but she was too scared to say anything because she too feared that the lord would hurt her or kick her out. Juliet only had two options and they were to either marry Paris whom she wasn’t in love with or to simply say goodbye to the word by killing herself. In this sad situation Juliet decided to go with her second option which was to kill her self. I believe if Juliet parents could have came to an agreement and allowed her to marry whom she wanted too then both Juliet and Romeo would have still been alive. The two families let there own prides get in the way of their children’s happiness and when all was said and done both sides regretted it.
The main people that can be blamed for the death of Romeo and Juliet are Juliet, Friar Lawrence, and Romeo. Juliet is one of the main people to blame for Romeo’s death. In Act 5, Scene 3, Romeo states, “Thy drugs are quick. This with a kiss I die.” This reveals that he killed himself to be with her, not knowing that she was faking her death to avoid marrying Paris.
Who is responsible for killing Romeo and Juliet? The death of these two people was a tragedy, but might not have been entirely their fault. There are many people in this drama that could be to blame for this terrible misunderstanding. Romeo and Juliet’s stars were crossed from the beginning so it may very well be the very stars fault for being crossed. In my opinion though, the father of Juliet might have done a few things to drive his daughter and his son-in-law to their untimely deaths.
In William Shakespeare's The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet two young lovers lost their lives when hate and love collided. From the Montagues came Romeo and from the Capulets was Juliet. The two families were feuding and Romeo and Juliet could not stand being without each other. They both killed themselves because they thought life was not worth living without the other. Though there are many who can be blamed for this tragic ending, there are three that are the most responsible. Mercutio, The Nurse, and Friar Laurence are the three that deserve the most blame.
