In the “tragedy of Macbeth” by William Shakespeare, the leading character Macbeth shows the specifications of what a good friend, and a loyal solider should not act like. For example, in the play it starts to show how Macbeth wants to kill his king so that he will become the next king. Macbeth states “That is a step on which I must fall down or o’er leap stars, hid your fires! Let not light see my black and deep desires” (Shakespeare 311).
