People have been trying to find out what role does the Amazon rainforest plays.Also there are many shifts of climate in the Amazon rainforest. Each year 28 million acres of land is burned,and cutted down causing deforestation. Killing many living species in that process.If this continues,then very many plants,and animals are going instinct in areas.
The oil productions can hurt the rainforest.It says” in 2003 an oil pipline that runs through the amazon rainforest in Ecuador.”So we can see that there was a pipline going through the rainforest.That oil pipline was causeing irreparable damage to the Amazon rain forest. It didn’t benefit the rainforest at that time it was happening.
In brazil the cattle ranching is being the cause of destroying their rainforest. It says “Brazilians are cutting down 6.1 million acres of land for the cow’s land..” We see that the forest cannot grow while the brazilians are cattle farming.So everything is beinng destroyed just because of cows,when there’s tons of plants,and animals the rain forest.
Also it says “according to a new report by the center for International forestry research,oil drilling,and mining in tropical environments have helped to preserve rainforest. “So we can see that the oil production can also help protect the rainforest as well as harming it too.This could be a way others will stop cutting down the trees.
The problem with hunting animals is that it’s going to extinction. The hunting mostly happens with guns. “This cause enormous losses across the range of mammalian species”, this shows that its really common of different species are becoming extinct over being hunted.Things like that have to be stopped because its illegal to do that.
“The selling of coffee has grown into a multibillion-dollar industry in the past decade. The coffee beans fueling this burgeoning business are grown in the rainforest”.There are two ways to grow coffee; In the shade,which preserves rain forest ,and in the sun,which destroys the rain forest”. This brings out that there are ways coffee can help the rainforest and can even also destroy it.
“Rainforest contain a greater variety of plant species than any other species.Some of these plants, researchers believe,may have valuable medical properties that could save the lives of people suffering from diseases such as cancer and AIDS”.
This process also produces high levels of oxygen that help to support life around the world. Coupled with the high levels of rainfall that benefit the water cycle, the rainforests are an integral part of the many systems that exist. These forests contain a wide variety of plants that a source of different chemicals that are used to create medicines. The degradation of these areas could potentially lead to the loss of medicines that could cure some of the deadliest diseases and illnesses that Governments in these countries need to stop thinking of forests as a renewable resource. The rate at which they are harvesting these areas drives them beyond the boundaries of sustainability.

The beautiful Amazon rainforest “covers a vast area of more than two and one-half million square kilometers” (The Amazon: Its Developers, Destroyers). It is home to a wide variety of plants and animals, not found anywhere else in the world. Scientists believe that there are still many yet to be found. The Amazon is also home to many tribes who have been there for a long period of time. These tribes accommodate medicine men who know the secrets of the rainforest and the healing properties not yet discovered by scientists. The mysterious Amazon is a long-time treasure that needs to be preserved, because there is so much still to be discovered. However, everyday these opportunities are being taken away from future generations because of the human influence on the Amazon rainforest. Future cures for diseases and the discovery of new life in the Amazon are being destroyed more and more every day. Human influence is negatively effecting the Amazon rainforest.
Therefore, a large amount of trees were cut down and led to forest destruction. People have done these kinds of activities for many years and these deforestation activities have brought about a lot of permanent and long term issues. Although the society has started to consider the problem of deforestation, it is not easy to solve the issues completely. Land desertification can be a huge area and it almost cannot be controlled. In addition, it is not only threatening the people and animals in the Amazon, the world is also threatened by deforestation.
No matter where a person lives, even if it is not near a rain forest, the complete destruction of rain forests will affect living conditions. For years rain forests have provided countries around the word with valuable resources, minerals, lumber, and energy. In Brazil alone the rain forests contains 45% of Brazil’s hydroelectric power. The minerals found in the rain forests of Brazil are estimated to value 1.6 trillion dollars, while the lumber that the rain forests can provide total 1.7 trillion dollars (“In the Forest” 1). Nutrients from decomposing organisms can be found throughout rain forests, including in soil and in trees. To continue destroying forests also destroys the important materials that they are providing to humans.
Agriculture is an absolute necessity for human life on Earth to continue. There are too many people on the planet for existence as hunters and gatherers to work anymore. That said, it must be realized that concessions must be made to allow such food growth and production to occur. But this does not mean that another important element of life on Earth can be destroyed for it. Unfortunately, that is indeed what is occurring, at an alarming rate. Some of the negative impacts human make are pollution. This happens when people litter and they are not careful of pouring liquids into the rivers or on the grounds of the forests. This also happens when over fertilizing an ecosystem. We also impact the Amazon Rainforest by over collecting wood. This can be in many different ways, cutting down to many trees and not growing new ones used to make paper and firewood and ,taking too many branches off of trees for firewood and building shelters. One of the big ways we impact the Amazon Rainforest is commercial agriculture. What I mean by this is the illegal clearing of land and causes deforestation. Simply speaking, rainforests are basically the foundation of the earth. The most important role that rainforests play is ‘the lungs of the earth’. This is extremely vital to the earth’s survival as the trees and plants absorb carbon dioxide which they use to help grow and let out oxygen which we need to live.
