What Makes a Superhero?

Superheroes have always been very popular since they first originated. They use their superpower or super-gadgets to serve a purpose. Superheroes protect innocent people and help fight crime, which is why they tend to live a complete meaningful life. They also use their strengths as confidence booster to keep on saving lives and defeating villains. To be a superhero there are some element s someone need to have to call himself a superhero. Most of the superheroes have the characteristics of courage, morality, resilience, and the most important superpowers or super-gadgets.
One characteristic that all superheroes have is courage. Courage is a highly praised quality that many people admire. Every Superhero have something that have encourage them to do what they are now. One great example of this is Batman. In the book Psychology of Superheroes the author states, “After the death of his parents, Bruce traveled the world, learning escape-arts, illusions, and martial arts...”(Robin S. Rosenberg & Jennifer Canzoneri. iBooks. pg 284). After the death of his parents, Batman had to make the tough decision of becoming a hero or becoming the villain. He decided to rise above the hate and anger. He would make sure that this kind of thing would never happen again to anyone else. Through sheer courage and determination, he was able to conquer many of his fears and then go on to fight against them. Another example of courage is the Justice League of America, “Such a dangerous and frightening experience leads the heroes to affiliate with each other and appreciate each other, and to acknowledge the fact that it is the combination of group effort and individual powers that would make them unbeatable if they were to make the group official.” (Robin...

Everyone has a favorite superhero they want be like and have their special abilities. Superheroes save innocent lives and influenced many people to do good by displaying courage, morality, and resilience. Their Superhero qualities help them gain confidence to remain as Superheroes. Also, they utilize their super abilities or super-gadgets with relish.
