The sky is filled with the sun, the moon and the stars. For ages, we have used them as representations of human qualities. They represent many different traits: such as the sun represents compassion, energy, passion, life, and power; the moon represents mystery, calm, logic and intelligence; the stars represent hope, renewal, luck, fortune and beauty. How do we connect to these traits? How do we show these traits in our daily lives? What kinds of people connect to each astrological being?
Some people are like the sun: hyper, optimistic, passionate and underestimated. These people can seem somewhat naïve, so people underestimate them, but they hold a lot of hidden potential. Some people are like the moon: logical, calm, analytical and mysterious.

I am compassionate, energetic, passionate, and optimistic; like the sun. I show my compassion by helping others if they need help; like helping grading papers for a teacher or putting things away or organizing things for them. I also try to help my peers with things they may need help with. I also show this by empathizing with my peers when they go through hard times. I show my energetic nature by getting excited easily and always being in a good mood. I also show this by always trying to be happy, with a smile on my face, even when I am not feeling well. I show my passion by having thorough discussions on topics I feel strongly towards like feminism and the education system. I also show this by giving my all when doing things that interest me. I show my optimism by trying to be positive in bad situations and looking for the best in …show more content…
I am imaginative, caring, unique and cheerful. I show my imaginativeness by daydreaming a lot and thinking about topics, like what I could do to make the world a better place, or what would happen if something that is looked down upon by society now was praised? I also show this by being creative with school projects. I show my caring side by always being there for my friends and supporting them no matter what. I also show this by trying to talk to people who are new in school and I try to make them feel comfortable. I show I am unique by knowing I am different from other people and embracing that difference. I also show this by just being myself and not wanting to be anyone else. I show my cheerfulness by always having a smile on my face and always wanting to laugh or make others smile and laugh. I also show this by being able to be very happy when one little good thing happens when I have a bad
I tend to be analytical, as previously mentioned, and supportive of others. Upholding high principles of morality and ethics have made me flourish as I have a lot of empathy towards the needy.
The basic astrological assumptions are not hard to grasp. For if astronomy is the study of the movements of the heavenly bodies, then astrology is the study of the effects of those movements. The astronomers of the ancient world assumed a division of the universe whereby the superior, immutable bodies of the celestial worlds ruled over the terrestrial or sublunary sphere, where all was mortality and change. It was assumed that the stars had special qualities and influences which were transmitted downwards upon the passive earth, and which varied in their effect, according to the changing relationship of the heavenly bodies to each other. They were led to postulate a single system in which the seven moving stars or planet shifted their position in relation to the earth and each other, against a fixed backcloth of the twelve signs of the zodiac. There is nothing obscure about these general assumptions.
Physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels are all involved. I appear calm on the surface but I can be extremely emotional inside. The sun in Scorpio is a combination of powerful traits, half of which contradict the other. I can be independent, yet clingy, passionate, and yet cold. Once I engage my emotions by focusing on the positive aspects I can become dedicated and sincere in my undertaking, and with others. Usually understanding the natures of the human heart can be quite interesting as I know what someone means when they say something they don’t mean or when someone is lying and thinks no-one around them has a clue they’re
My whole life I always saw astrology as just a tiny paragraph in the back of my magazine that made silly predictions about my upcoming month in its latest issue. After learning more about astrology and its origins through informational videos and online articles I am so intrigued. I learned that you have a sun sign, which is your zodiac sign that’s most commonly known, but you also have a moon sign, a rising sign and connections to the planets that all stem from something called your birth chart. Your birth chart is unique to each individual and is based off of when and where you were born and how that time and place connects to the universe and it’s relation to the planets. It was so cool to see how intricate and scientific astrology actually is and it was even cooler to be able to see how that all applies to my zodiac sign and how that relates to my personality, life and relationships with my friends and family. I don’t think it will be something I will commonly use but I did enjoy learning more about it and being able to gain a better appreciation for it and it’s concepts. I think the people who truly believe in astrology or who apply it to their every day lives most likely really enjoy making connections about things and learning more about themselves and those around
Why do you think the United States (U.S.) became involved with Latin America? If you said, it was because we wanted something, you are right. Throughout history we have always wanted something from somebody and as customary, we get it. In the case of Latin America, we were in need of a more logical passage from coast to coast. The perfect solution was, the Panama Canal. We knew what we needed, so we did everything in our power to get it. President Roosevelt didn't care how it happened or at what cost as long as it was ours. Once we took control of the canal we would not relinquish it. It wasn't until 1999 when we finally gave them back their land. Yet, today they are still paying for our involvement in the canal.
The trait I believe I reflect most is caring. I am always available when my friends, or even strangers, need help. I hope that I am a good person for someone to talk to as I am open-minded enough to never judge someone for their misfortunes or wrong doings. This brings me to the other trait I relate to most, which is open-minded. I believe that I am able to understand most people’s point of view in situations even if they seem to be in the wrong. Two other traits I relate to very much, however not as much as the aforementioned traits, are knowledgeable and risk-taker. I am knowledgeable not only in the sense that I am intelligent but also that I am on a journey of seeking higher knowledge and the secrets the world has to offer me. Knowledgeable can help me in my area of risk-taking by allowing me to not take risks that will produce a dangerous outcome. I am a risk-taker in my personal life more than my educational one because I find joy in new experiences and enjoy being adventurous and taking risks. The traits that I particularly relate to are balanced, a thinker, and reflective. I view myself as a thinker due to the immense amount of time I spend pondering the spiritual aspect of life. Although I would possibly describe myself as a thinker, I would have a harder time describing myself as reflective because I prefer to live in the now and not reflect back onto my sad past. Balanced is a trait that I see in myself but I also me failing at being balanced always. I tend to balance time between friends poorly, however not by intention. Also, I need to work on balancing my time spent on projects and assignments in school. The traits on the list I relate to the least are principled, inquirer, and communicator. Although I am principled, I find myself being more open to ideas and possibilities, that some people believe are wrong. I am not as stubborn as many principled people are, my opinion is
My belief is that the nature of our behavior is based on astronomy; hence the reason that people who share the same zodiac sign have very similar characteristics, and sometimes a combination of people with certain zodiac signs cannot get along or are very compatible. Sometimes I can tell from a person’s sign because of their behavior, and likes and dislikes. Learning more about astrology and the zodiac signs helps us to understand people and their actions. Many argue that it is coincidence, but the odds are too high to be that.
A quote that I live by, “When you play, play hard; when you work, don't play at all,” By Theodore Roosevelt. I completed a personality test at the beginning of the school year in Mrs.Puckett’s class. The test told me that, I was an I. That means I’m active, can not stop moving around, be around to people, making people happy, and short term projects.
Even the zodiac signs used by them are also different from other forms of
In astrology everybody has a different or same zodiac sign. There are 12 signs in the zodiac each have different personality traits. Some signs are water signs which are cancer, scorpio, and pisces. When people believe in astrology, what they believe is that the planets and stars directly or indirectly influence their lives and determine what happens to them in life. (Weblinkers.com Enterprises, p.1) The stars are said to show guidance and meaning for the lives of people. (Woolfolk, p.297)
Beautiful, intelligent, strong and pure of heart, she lights up the room when she smiles. Always tries to do what she thinks is best and encourages others. I think that this is absolutely me. I am crazy at times and a sweet person. I think of my self or personality as beautiful, intelligent,
I am an intuitive-feeling personality. I am charismatic, participative and very people oriented. I tend to focus on the big picture and not the small specifics. I am not power hungry and try to be helpful and giving to those around me.
We see the life of every individual becoming uncertain and insecure in terms of education, jobs, business, married life, health, personal and social life, etc. Career astrology has a very important role to play in such situations. I am sentimental, out-going, indecisive, understanding, curious, naive, lazy, and young. I want to be ... , well a lot of things, and growing is discovering what they are. I feel people cannot see the potential within, although there is no one to blame but myself. I look to others for approval instead of to myself. I aim to please; it leads to approval. I don’t like to discuss my faults; I pity myself.
