Hate is a feeling that can grow in your heart over the years. It's painful when someone you have been with for years and love tells you that you are no good. People say you always bring trouble every were you go. Deep down in your heart you begin to feel the pain and hate grows. It causes you to feel the need to hurt the one who put you in all this pain and hate. It's like "where's he at?" "I don't know... What did he do to you" is way too much to tell. For me it just takes one word "you’re fat!" It's like what did you say? I have had someone say that to me way back in middle school, even to this day I still have that need to hurt that one person. I never step down from a fight, I'm a fighter. Strong and powerful, I have no fear. I'm a leader, my bite is a lot more painful than my bark. …show more content…
Hate can bring war, murder and suicide. Why live in a world with hate? Can’t we just live in harmony with the world? Every day I hear the same song “where is the love?" So I ask myself "Really what's going on with the world we're living in?" Yet as the years come and go, I'm still asking myself why are we still fighting? The war is over. Can't we just have love and not hate? Hate can bring a lot of bad things like war, murder, killing and sometimes rape. All I see is a world of hate. Every day the same thing, hate people, love family and animals. My name is Tabmcnasty. People call me Tabmcnasty for the things I do and say. Some people don't like what I do and say. I can't help what comes out of my lips. I'm a very mean person. Some men think my name means "let's get freaky," so I tell them that's my stage name. I make people mad at me for what I do and
Love is considered a wonderful connection between two people that brings happiness to many. Although without hate no one would realize how marvelous love truly is. Does this mean hate is more powerful than love throughout the world? Hate overpowers love because there may be so much love in this world, but with the tiniest bit of hate everything could be changed in a split second. Hate is an indestructible power that will demolish anything in its way, like it did in The Coffin Quilt, by Ann Rinaldi. Roseanna McCoy and Johnse Hatfield’s love was simply not powerful enough to defeat the hate that came along with the love.
Martin Luther King Jr. declared, “Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that” ( citation ) . Many people feel as Mr. King did, that love can fight hate, and ultimately love is the answer, the fixer, to this figurative darkness. The word’s love and hate express a strong and perhaps intense feeling for something or someone. However, these intense emotions are commonly used in opposition of each other. It is crucial, though, to note that these powerful emotions can easily cross lines and become blurred. Evidence of this claim is supported by Rempel and Burris’ “...Integrative Theory of Love and Hate,” which outlines what it means to love and what it means to hate, and how humans
“…we are uncharitable to ourselves; every man is his (own) greatest enemy, and as it were, his own executioner.” Sir Thomas Brown in Religion Medici. To me this analogue reminds me of how teenage girls and boys act. Hormonal, confused adolescents are mean to each other to gain popularity, however they are being mean to themselves by acting as someone they are not and losing their true friends. In other words, people’s inner enemy and hatred is hurting the people around them, which is losing the innocence and good inside someone. One’s inner enemy is caused by their sins and jealousy for another’s possessions and personality. Having jealousy for another person destroys the true love and friendship for the so-called enemy. The inner enemy
Throughout Romeo and Juliet we can see that hate and love are very significant themes in the play and often occur alongside each other. Although love is vital, it wouldn’t be so major if it weren’t for the elements of hate, which intensify the love by contrasting against it.
John Lennon is a wise man, but is this quote accurate when used in context with the taming of the shrew? The 1999 film Ten things I Hate about you and the 1967 film Taming of The Shrew are both based on shakespeare's 1592 play of the latter name, The Taming of the shrew. Both films follow the plot of shakespeare’s earlier play, but to what extent is arguable. Ten things I hate about you is a modernised version of the play, so many of the original aspects have been changed to appeal to a modern audience. Some of the main features of the original storyline have been cut or changed, and this is because they are too dark to include include for a modern audience. Scenes where Petruchio starves Kate and refuses to let her sleep are all examples of the darker theme of this play. This may have been an acceptable theme during the era that Taming of the shrew was first developed, as views on a women's
In the same way as love, hatred requires a certain intimacy between two people. A relationship cannot consist of either love or hate without there first being a close relationship between two individuals. Hawthorne explains that for these emotions to exist, “each, in its utmost development, requires a high degree of intimacy and heart-knowledge” (Hawthorne 246). In order for either of these emotions to be conceived within an individual, the person must first make an effort to acquire a deep understanding of the other person. It is necessary to have a familiarity with someone else’s character in order to either love or hate them, and it is impossible to become close to som...
As long as there are people, there will be hate and as long as there is hate there will be murder.
What constitutes a hate crime? What makes a hate crime different from a crime or are they one in the same. If you believe that there is a different between a hate crime and a crime, then how can we legislate hate crimes fairly and without bias on a consist basis? When it comes to hate crimes their seems to be more questions then answers and there also seems to be a lot of uncertainty within the law itself. Hate crime laws should no longer exist in are justice system because every violent crime involves an element of hate and it is impossible to prove a person’s motive or hate in the court of law.
The First Amendment is known as the most protected civil liberty that protects our right to freedom of speech. There has been much controversy regarding hate speech and laws that prohibit it. These problems have risen from generation to generation and have been protested whether freedom of speech is guaranteed. According to our text book, By the People, hate speech is defined as “hostile statements based on someone’s personal characteristics, such as race, ethnicity, religion, or sexual orientation.” Hate speech is a topic of issue for many people and their right’s, so the question is often proposed whether hate speech should be banned by government.
If hate remains, growing like a tree, poison erupts and destroys the enemy. When someone hold hate within their heart, anger grows like a fruit on a tree, creating a deadly poison. If one accepts the fact that “hatred stirs up conflict”, they are one step ahead. Completely abandoning hate, and turning to love, can be very difficult, commendable to anyone who
Like the poles of an electrical circuit between which runs the high voltage of emotions, love and hate create a dialogue and a dialectic, a dynamic tension which powers the action and generates heat.
The famous saying that from a true love to a great hatred is only a
Love and hate endure to be two extremely different emotions, yet there is an exceptionally thin line between love and hate. Nevertheless people can feel both of these emotions, and also show them in more ways than one. People ponder that these feelings remain exceedingly indistinguishable and others may feel they are exceptionally dissimilar. These two emotions can be seen and shown in a way that is effortless to recognize or uncommonly difficult to discern. Love and hate feelings and emotions can be long lasting or temporary. To compare love to hate would be nonsense in view of the fact that they are two totally different emotions. Love and hate prevail, they both prove more powerful than opposing forces. Two abundantly and similar yet extremely
Hate is a very scary thing and there is much too much of it in the world. I am an object of hate because I am a lesbian. I had a very scary incident a year ago that will haunt me for the rest of my life.
I ask myself everyday, why is there so much hate in this world? Why can't our world just accept people for who they are and what they want to believe in? If society learned to accept those for who they choose to be then the world would be a better place. Spreading positivity to others about what you believe in is ok but threatening to take the lives of others to get what you want is
