My top five gifts, talents, and abilities are: Leading, Coaching, Selling, Athletics, and Executing. Some of these I did not expect, selling and executing are not two things that I would have guessed to be my top talents. However, These two talents are things that I strive in. From a young age, I have been a salesman. From selling sandwiches at lunchtime in middle school, to selling water bottles at the outdoor basketball court in high school, I have always found a way to make money by selling things. I would also consider myself a great executer, this has helped me in the work force my entire life so far. My employers have always felt comfortable with giving me a task and considering it done. I am a very efficient person and this helps a lot …show more content…

It was very interesting when I found that my top three passions are things that I am lacking in my life currently. My first passion is basketball; I have loved basketball since I was in the second grade and this is the first year that I have not played. I came to Colorado Christian University to play basketball but after two years of being a college athlete God had different plans. I struggle with this because I am so passionate about basketball; there is nothing in the world that makes time pass like playing basketball does. This year I have started coaching basketball, which has helped me to fulfill that passion, but it is still hard to not be playing. My second biggest passion is where I am from, New Jersey. I lived in New Jersey for 18 years, 10 minutes from the ocean. I have lived in Colorado for two years now and I hate it. I miss the beach, I miss the nightlife, I miss the boardwalk, I miss the fast-paced culture, and I miss the arrogantly rude people. The beach is something that has always been very important to me; living so close to it, the beach had always been a happy place of rest. I miss everything about New Jersey. Many people spend their lives wondering what their purpose on earth is, but for now, I understand my own. My life purpose is to lead and support a family with tradition. This is very interesting to me because I do not have my own family yet. As I thought more about my life purpose statement, it became more clear to me why it is, what it is. There are two men in my life that I have looked up to and tried to follow their leads, those two men are my dad and my Pop-Pop. Neither of these men ever had the greatest job in the world, they never had the nicest car on the street, and they never put themselves first. These two men have the largest hearts for family that I have ever seen. For 50 years my Pop-Pop was a barber, he brought home just enough money to support his family and never had anything extra for himself. However, that is not what made him special, his family never knew that they were poor, they never knew that my Pop-Pop skipped a meal everyday and this is because he did it willingly. Family was the most important thing in his life; he did not care about his social status. His family was always put first and that was his life purpose; he led his family. The same goes for my dad, just not to the same extreme. My dad worked three jobs and barely slept for the first five years of his marriage. He didn’t have a glamorous job or any extras but his life purpose was, and still is, to support his family. He does it willingly
