There are many goals I have in life. Goals that may be different than your everyday teenager. Ever since I was child, I always saw many of my family members die. This was because of cancer. So when I found out my mother was a victim of this deathly disease, I knew something must be done. That’s where I got the intentions to find the cure of cancer. I made up my mind that whether or not my mother survived breast cancer or not, I would do my best in high school by getting good grades, graduating, going to college, and one day becoming a breast cancer doctor. I wanted to show my mother that I was always going to be her intelligent little girl. A girl that wanted to make something out of her life. I had in my mind that I wanted to kill this deadly …show more content…
Though I’m halfway done with my final year at St. Charles West, I think I will accomplish my goals in no time. Practically because I’ve managed to keep my grade point average at a 3.9%. Don’t get me wrong, it was a very difficult challenge over the last four years to accomplish this. Staying up past 2:00 A.M. to finish that last minute essay and doing countless amounts of history projects. Whatever the case was, I am grateful I’ve made it to this point. I don’t have to worry about whether I’m going to graduate because I’ve completed all the requirements. I even went above and beyond by taking on college credit classes. With that in mind, I’ll be one step ahead because I’ll already be getting the college work experience, doing calculus and college composition as if I was a freshman undergraduate. Enjoying high school is what I love and it will be truly missed when I step on that graduating stage, receiving my diploma, and graduating with high …show more content…
Yes, I plan to one day get married and have a beautiful family, but before those plans happen, I want to graduate college and start my career as a breast cancer doctor. Attending Avila University in the fall will be a fun experience. Maybe because I’ll be four hours away from my parents. No, but really I’ll be in a big city known for their highly qualified specialists. I believe Avila is the place where I belong, due to the fact that they work with their students. Avila University is a school that doesn’t believe in auditorium classes. They want the class sizes to be small, so when their students have questions or concerns, they can help their students individually. This is the type of environment I want for a college. A place where I feel comfortable and where the teachers believe all their students are capable of graduating. I know even before I start my year at this school that I will walk out of there ready to start my career. I know that I will have to go to graduates school in order to become a certified breast cancer doctor, but with the graduates programs at Avila University I know that will be no
My goal since my toddler years has been to be a hero. Today, I cannot envision myself doing anything else. My long-term goal since the beginning of high school has been to contribute to the biomedical sciences, whether it is as a researcher, a surgeon, or a clinical physician. I aspire to make change, even the smallest improvement in anyone’s life.
Life goals are something everyone wants to accomplish, but how will they do it? Well, I have a few life goals and a plan to make it happen. My life goals are so important to me I have already started to accomplish them. These goals will take time to accomplish, but I’m on the right track.
Life has no meaning without goals. In order to succeed setting goal is very important. Without setting goals there would be nothing to look forward to, or even have anything to achieve. Goals are a vital aspect of our lives. It gives a sense of self-confidence. I believe without goals life would just be a plain and no excitement at all. Long-term and short-term goals are intertwined and work similarly to build a house from ground up. I vision myself become a radiologist within the next three to five years. This is my present long-term goal. To achieve my long term goal I have two short term goals, first to get good grades in prerequisites courses and second to complete my grad school program with "A" grade minimum, because graduating with good grades is the stepping stone for my long-term goal.
Since I was a little girl my goal is to get accepted to the college I want and to become a good Register Nurse. Throughout my life my parents have pushed me to do good, to follow my dreams, to not let no one get in the way of you achieving your dreams and, for this reason, I will always thank my parents. There were times in my life where I just wanted to give up because of all the stress I put on myself, but I never gave up no matter what because that was how my parents raised me. I am a very sociable person, optimistic, and self educated.
What is my personal purpose? Is a question that I have never thought to ask myself until recently. Then when I started learning more about a personal purpose I started wondering if I have one and what it was. I never thought of myself has having a real purpose until a watched an interview Will Smith had did and he had said “When your life means something to someone other than yourself than you have a purpose.” That is when I realized that I have a purpose. My purpose is that I am the hug that let others know it is going to be ok. My personal goals is to be genuinely happy with myself and life and to make my parents proud, my career goal is to own my own business and being successful at doing so, finally, my educational goal is to get my bachelors degree and grauate with honors and even moving on to getting my masters. Having goals is important to me because I know that while I am in the process of accomplishing them I will have something great to look forward to in the end.
My long term goal in life is to go to college. I dream of getting a good education and finding a career that will support me in life, but will also enjoy. Going to college will help me understand what it is like to become an adult and not rely on my parents all the time. It will shape who I am by opening up career ideas that I could be interested in the future. Since I was a little child, I have been determined in my studies by getting good grades and understanding what I was taught.
Although I have many goals in life, two stick out to me the most. They stick out in every decision I make and they help me form good decisions. What I want most importantly in life is to become a pharmacist and to create a family with someone I love. I want the family most importantly because I was raised in a very tight Greek family. I want to raise my kids in that tight Greek family as well. Becoming a pharmacist is also a very important goal because I want stability in my job so that I can raise my family without major money issues. I also think it is very important for people to be healthy so that job would allow me to provide health care.
My goal is to go to college and then have a career. It 's a goal that probably a lot of people have,
Many people tend to set goals. They can set goals for their personal life, academics, or even for their professional lives. You can literally set a goal for pretty much anything you can imagine. I believe that people should set goals, they help you stay focused and want to do better for the future. Goals change all of the time though, because of a lot of different reasons, maybe you found that one thing just really is not what you want to do with your life, so you find something else to do. To me that is just how life is, my goals will most likely change as I am getting older and trying to find what I want to do with the rest of my life.
I made another goal for myself because I could not grasp the college life. This goal was to gain study habits and work extremely hard to pass my classes. I have always had high expectations for myself because I have always wanted to become a better person for not only myself, but my mother and younger brother as well. When I wasn’t passing two of my classes it was devastating, so I had to find ways that worked for me and could help me succeed
My goals are to graduate high school, be in student government, make good choices, and to make my parents proud. Those are realistic goals that I would do the impossible to accomplish.
I believe every person has their own goals they want to accomplish in life. For example, some goals people would like to achieve are becoming successful, receive a good education, graduate or go to college, and have a long life. Everyone has long-term goals, mid-term goals, and short-term goals. But short term goals are easier to finish than long-term goals. I myself have ambitions that I hope to accomplish.
Achieving any goal requires self-discipline. It involves a conscious awareness of our actions and the ability to overcome some of the bad habits that might be holding us. Instilling self- discipline into our lives is not easy task.
When planning for our future it is important to have clear goals in mind and to understand the steps that need to be taken to achieve those goals. My long-term goal is to run my own counseling center and employee at least one other person. Some Skills I already possess that will allow me to succeed with this plan are my ability to relate to people and be consistent in following the steps needed, even though it will be a long and tedious process.
My goals in life are ultimately to achieve success in life. My goals are to also have happiness, prosperity in every area in my life, and the freedom and peace within to be able to carry out my goals. My goals are also heavily influenced on the hardships my parents have had to endure such as facing ridicule for the simple fact of being immigrants, the extremely difficult time they endured due to unemployment and living in poverty, and the low degree of education they received from their countries. My goals are so important to me because I view it as way out of barely getting by, out of a harder life. My goals consist of me being the first person on my mother 's side to ever graduate from middle and high school. My goals also consist of making my parents proud of their daughter, a daughter that will give them a more comfortable life, one that is not filled with such pain. After seeing my mother suffer from a liver infection which caused her to become sick to the point of hospitalization, I promised myself that day I never wanted anyone to feel as sick as my mother did. No one deserves to go through that much suffering. My dream and passion is to study Biology at the GREAT Bethune- Cookman University and to be a doctor who will not only help my community here in America but also for my families in
