Keeping off, the weather is impossible. Weather forecasting is the one branch of skill that virtually everyone uses on an everyday basis. Whether one holds the forecast in the break of the day, afternoon, or night, knowing the atmospheric conditions enables us to set up for the character of weather we will be confronting. Forecasting the climate has been exercised since the outset of time with more or less accuracy. Historical beliefs show numerous examples of weather predicting methods based on observing surrounding elements. Although meteorologists observations aren’t always precise; having little knowledge about what may happen is better than none. However, forecast transitioning is steadily changing from biblical beliefs, philosophical opinions, observations, and evolving technology which helps meteorologists to stay a few more days ahead.
The forecast of weather conditions was based entirely on the perceptions of the sky. The sky is assuredly the first index number used in weather forecasting. The sky is cover and nature of clouds gives clues of the upcoming temperature and conditions. The science of weather forecasting started with early civilizations using relapsing astronomical and meteorological events to help them monitor seasonal changes in the conditions. These assumptions led to the curiosity of ancient philosophers’ short-term weather prophecies.
In 650 B.C. the Babylonians tried to predict short-term weather changes based on the visual aspect of clouds and optical phenomena such as doughnuts. Likewise, in 300 B.C., the Chinese astronomers developed a calendar that divided the year into 24 festivals, each festival associated with a dissimilar type of weather. But yet with these anticipations, the causes still re...

...alculations of atmospheric temperature and moisture profiles and other variables in the surroundings. The technical use of radars, climate maps, satellites, thermometers, and many more gives meteorologists a weird kind of instruments to use for all types of conditions. These scientific advances have made it prompt and precise to forecast the weather. As meteorologists grow to determine more about the weather, we get more versed about our earth and water.
Having this knowledge of the weather has bettered and saved several lives, whereas the issue of death and injured rate would be zooming through the ceiling. Who is not appreciative of weather forecasters? Although we may not present our thanks on a regular basis, we appreciate all the help that we can get. Meteorologists aren’t 100 percent correct, only the portion of the time that they are correct benefits a ton.
Throughout the entire hurricane season, meteorologists keep a close watch on the Atlantic and the Pacific Oceans. They examine pictures of the area taken by satellites, and also take information on air pressure, wind speed, and temperatures. One of their most important jobs is to gather information on where the storm will hit, and how powerful it will be.
Scientists have determined that weather systems are changeable. Over a large amount of time, the earths tilt changes, causing the axis’s to tilt more one way then it used to, and thus changing the weather. Greenhouse gasses may also change the weather, making our climate either much hotter or much cooler. Ice caps and deserts have one thing in common, one small change in the weather can change them- and they will change the world.

The weather conditions play a major influential role in a person’s daily life. Thoughts, feelings, and behaviors have be linked with different weather conditions, depending on the person. Different moods and behaviors have been correlated with different weather conditions, further proving its psychological effect. However, these same psychological influences have been examined to be more physiologically affecting. In this paper, the role of weather conditions, (positive and negative), in relation to their influence on behavioral health will be reviewed. It is hypothesized that exposure to constantly fluctuating levels of high barometric pressure will lead to negative behavior. The following literature reviews will demonstrate and support this hypothesis.
Climate change is difficult to express directly, for knowledge of climate change generally falls under the classification of “weather.” However geologists have known since the mid-nineteenth century that local, and global climate undergoes change throug...

Evidence shows that, we had lots of unusual weather over the past years, and because of global warming, weather patterns are changing. Also according to “Minute Earth,” “https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nEQghbA3pLM” they explain that the Earth is experiencing more powerful storms due to increased temperature on the Earth’s oceans. On the other hand, a lot of hot or cold air pressure has changed a lot, do to global warming. Finally, just like previously mentioned, CO2 in the air is another factor to why the Earth has climate changes, with factories, and other man-made things causing the problem, we can actually see what is

Everyday you wake up in the morning and start making decisions. What you wear, what you eat, and what you do for the day are dependent on the weather. Climate is an important part of life, without it we would not have life at all. Native Americans experienced climate in ways both similar and different than we do.
Since the first Egyptian farmers discovered the annual reappearance of Sirius just before dawn a few days before the yearly rising of the Nile, ancient civilizations around the Mediterranean have sought to explain the movements of the heavens as a sort of calendar to help guide them conduct earthly activities. Counting phases of the moon or observing the annual variations of day length could, after many years' collection of observations, serve as vital indicators for planting and harvesting times, safe or stormy season for sailing, or time to bring the flocks from winter to summer pastures. With our millennia of such observation behind us, we sometimes forget that seeing and recording anything less obvious than the rough position of sun or nightly change of moon phase requires inventing both accurate observation tools (a stone circle, a gnomon used to indicate the sun's shadow, a means to measure the position of stars in the sky) and a system of recording that could be understood by others. The ancient Greeks struggled with these problems too, using both native technology and inquiry, and drawing upon the large body of observations and theories gradually gleaned from their older neighbors across the sea, Egypt and Babylonia. Gradually moving from a system of gods and divine powers ordering the world to a system of elements, mathematics, and physical laws, the Greeks slowly adapted old ideas to fit into a less supernatural, hyper-rational universe.

The weather forecasters use probability and statistics just as much if not more than any other field on earth. As weather patterns are not fully understood and are dynamic, analysts have to rely heavily on past weather systems and patterns to “guess'; or estimate the possibility of present weather systems to behave in similar manners. If the probability of its behavior, subject to certain factors, in one manner over another is high forecasters make decisions as to how to advise the public.
Unusual weather conditions has sounded the alarm about the threat of climate change. It is not the short duration but it is a continuous problem which changes the weather conditions unnaturally in everywhere. The temperature has increased year to year and its growing rate is being expanded. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) claimed that the global average surface temperature has risen about 0.6 °c from twentieth century and they foresaw that the temperature will increase 1.9 °c to 6.4°c in this century. This assumes that extreme weather events also appear in Hong Kong. According to the research by the Hong Kong Observatory , Hong Kong had a significant climate change over the past century. Nowadays, extreme rainfall events and steaming hot days are very often when frosty days are more infrequent. This reveals that climate change lead to abnormal and extreme weather events that we cannot adapt to it easily.
Climatologists are scientist who study climate. The global warming debate has created tension between climate scientist and meteorologists especially weather forecasters on television. Climatolo...
In the statistical distribution of weather condition and its perfect pattern in an amount of time ranging from decades to centuries to millions of years, a substantial, long-lasting and drastic change is largely known as Climate change. It may be a change in more or fewer extreme weather events or in the distribution of weather more or less the average conditions or in average weather conditions. With the usage of theoretical models and observations methods, scientists, experts and specialists in this particular field actively works in order to perfectly understand past and future climate under certain situation and circumstances.
