School Uniforms are absolutely safer than street clothes. West Middle School should present uniforms to the school, even though some kids do not like to wear that. Believe it or not, normal clothes made schools more dangerous. Kids may hide weapons in their pants. They can hide up to twelve guns in their pants, then they cover it up with an extra-long shirt. In my opinion, West Middle School should positively have uniforms. In the first place, the students feel happier. Uniforms don’t have to be dull, they can be colorful! Students feel safer knowing that they are protected. Eight-teen percent of the U.S.A is using uniforms in their schools. That may not be a lot, but I believe that every school should at least think about having school uniforms. In the second place, uniforms improve learning for students. Students feel safer with uniforms, so they stay more focused. Students feel like they are a part of their school’s family. …show more content…

It has come to my attention that this idea of uniforms is also a good thing because they can’t hide weapons on their pants. Believe it or not, kids do hide and take weapons to school. The average class of twenty-five, only five students feel unsafe. This may not seem like a lot when you think about it, but this is a big problem, because these students don’t feel like they are supposed to. Absolutely every student should feel happy and safe. Another reason is that if an intruder comes into the school they can’t blend into the kids. They will be seen and spotted if they don’t have uniforms. Street clothes can easily be spotted from uniforms. Plus a random kid can’t just walk in with other students in a school. They may know the color and how the uniform looks like but there are other little details that they add in with the uniforms. Like maybe a belt, a tie, a type of color socks, or shoes, that kinds of things. Uniforms make a better place for students and staffs so why don’t we have
