There is a difference between a great piece of art and a good piece of art. A good piece of art dazzles and influences its audience. While a great piece of artwork is not confined to time, but influences generation after generation. Literature is a great piece of artwork. It tends to influence its audience no matter the time period; whether it was written in the middle ages or in the millennium. Literature offers something that is ageless and always applicable. It is a story with an agenda to teach its audiences. After all, as the Nun’s priest says in his epilogue, “For everything written, says St. Paul Is written, surely, to instruct us all.” (Chaucer 218). Hi, I’m William Bouchard, and I would like to thank you, the school counsellors, for attending this meeting on the stress level and workload of students. I wish to persuade you that too much sympathy is a bad thing. Specifically, I want to speak about the problems that come to an over-sympathetic individual who tend to take on other people’s problems. Or were you bought an Easy-Bake Oven and pretended to run your own kitchen? Where you ever let to decide what toy you want and when you picked it, you were told it is only for boys/girls?
There I lay in bed, tormented by the same question. The kind of question those who seem to have all the answers, simply cannot answer. The kind of question that runs through your head after a bizarre dream. The kind of question those who are closest to death ask themselves. But I wasn't close to death, nor was I waking up from a wild dream.I was simply a regular seventeen year old boy fearing the life that would come after graduation.Staring at the ceiling, I took a deep breath and exhaled as the question raced across my mind once again,”what’s next”,
...s imagination. I also plan on saving this essay and using it in my preschool classroom in the future; unless the district or supervisor calls for it, all technology in the room will be controlled by me and will be used strictly for teaching purposes. My children will not only know the value of play, but will get to experience it hands on.

This class that I took for two years helped me become a better writer and helped me understand the types of writers we have.
